D93 Bodice 1865 -1875 Basque style bodice, long sleeved, beige silk tafetta with a small print of lavender
flowers, silk and cotton lined. The buttons in the front are covered in lavender tafetta
as are the front and back inserts, the sleeve binding, the neck and all around the
bottow of the garment. Beige and lavender cord trim around the neck. There is also
cord trim on sleeves with two tassels on each. The cord has a bow and two tassels.
Tag reads 'silk basque which belonged to Miss Abby Matilda Storer about 1860, gift
of Miss Agnes Storer 1925.' Other side of tag reads 'bodice, D93, period 1865-1875.'

Chinese.

collar, bottom looks like an attached cumberbund. Snaps and hooks, lace stitching

collar. Back pleats have big flower design embroidered. Attaches in back. Trimmed
with applique embroidery.

D432 Bodice circa1907 -1912 Sheer bodice made of lawn with many fine tucks in the front and back as well as the
sleeves. Insertion on the sleeves, around the neck and all seams. High boned neck,
leg-o-mutton sleeves, gathered into a narrow waist, buttons in back with tiny star
covered buttons that match those on the sleeves. Fastens in back, boned collar.

D433 Bodice circa1907 -1912 Cotton lawn bodice trimmed with heavy lace insertion about two inches on back and
front. Same trim on the cuffs. V-necked yoke front and back. Eight inch tucks of the
lawn material, front and back, and at the cuffs. Seams are put together with very fine
insertion and the buttons at the back are Irish lace covered.

D520 Bodice circa 1890 - 1899 Cream colored bodice with square neckline. The front is lace with silk that is draped
over it in the center with two bows. Sleeves and back are silk. Sleeves have lace
trim. Bows on each side before shoulder, in front and below shoulder in back.
Bodice comes to a point in front. Fastens in the back and is pleated. Note from
Donor: Waist of heavy ivory satin with lace trimmings. Part of my ballgown of 50
years ago. The skirt was in 9 gores of bell shape. 6 yards around bottom. Long kid
gloves worn with it.

flowers, circlet of leaves, bird on a branch, female figure, and arch of leaves with
