Shot 1: When Hakan and Hilary are on the phone to each other

The Costume for both the characters should be casual as they are at home and are reminiscing about past memories. The casual clothing will portray a relaxed atmosphere.

Shots 3 to 8

Shots 3-8: When Hilary and Hakan first meet

The clothing here should be casual as well as they just meet. They could both be wearing jeans and casual shoes such as trainers.

Shots 11-15 Shots 11-15: At the restaurant

Here, the clothing will be more formal and dressed up as it is a formal occasion and the first time they go out as a couple.

Hilary could wear a dress and Hakan could wear a suit or smart shirt.

Shots 16-23

Shots 16-23: The first park scene and the arguing scene

Here, they would again wear casual clothes as the scenes are set at a park and at home (arguing scene)

The casual clothes at the park would represent them being free and having fun.

It would also be used in the argument scene as it is set at home and it is common to wear casual clothing at home.

Shots 24-28 Shots 24-28: The second park scene where Hakan proposes

to Hilary

In this scene, the couple will wear formal clothes. This is because it is an important event as Hakan proposes to Hilary.

The clothing will be similar to that in shots 11-15.

Shot 29 Shot 29: Close up shot of Hilary singing

Here, Hilary will wear a red dress. This is to symbolise love, which is the highlight of this song.

As the shot will be a close up, the length of the dress will not matter.

Shots 30-31 Shots 30-31: Scene of the couple playing video

games and play fighting

Here, the clothing will again be casual as the couple are at home playing video games.

The casual clothing will again be able to underline the fun aspect of this scene.

We have not planned for further costumes as our song will be cut short and would therefore need to stop at approximately shot 31.
