Fiscal SurplusFor six consecutive years, Bolivia generates more income than itspends it means has fiscal surplus. Before, used to spend more thanit earns and therefore there were 66 years of fiscal deficit until2005.

Cochabamba exported, in 2011, a value of USD 394 millions26% more than year before when its external sales reachedUSD 314 millions.

The highest amount of resources that this departmentgenerates come from exports of hydrocarbons, followed by themanufacturing industry , in third place is farming, cattle raising ,hunting, fishing forestry and mineral exploitation .
