Present Emigration Processing System

Regulatory Environment Emigration Clearance (EC) is required for migrating to 18 notified

countries for work from any one of 10 POE offices.

Three/ Four stage of Emigration Clearance (Manual Process) : Attestation by Indian Mission for Unskilled, Domestic Sector and

Individual Recruitment (1200+ applications in 2014*) Demand Approval ( 67000+ applications in 2014*) Interview & Advertise Permission ( 8000+ applications in 2014*) Emigration Clearance (8 Lakh intending emigrants accorded emigration

clearance in 2014)

eMigrate System Vision- To transform emigration into a simple, transparent, orderly and humane

Phase wise Trial Run of eMigrate at all 10 POE offices since 26 May 2014

Recruiting Agents registered 1078 Demands Approved - 60,900+ Vacancies Approved: 9,11,000+ Emigration Clearances : 2,09,000+

Challenges Faced during the trial run X Service unavailability on multiple occasions due to Technical Snags. X Numerous software modifications & enhancements.

Now the system is ready for full scale launch. All Emigration Clearance related processes will be mandatorily brought

under eMigrate system by 31st March 2015.
