Background • The CountrySTAT was introduced in the Country about 6 years ago,
• It was well taken up well in the country especially in the agriculture
sector ministries
• Related institutions with well support from the senior Managers in
these institutions,
• Ministries of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Trade, Forestry, the
Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) and Kenya Metrological
Departments (KMD).
• Most institutions have their representative introduced to System and
components installed for use at their offices.
