11-­‐a)  -­‐  DATABASE  ADMINISTRATOR/COORDINATORS  (10  min)  BYLAW-­‐REQUIRED  ACTION  Consensus  Question:  Who  shall  serve  as  Database  Administrator/Coordinators  for  the  2012-­‐2014  term?    Discussion,  Nominations,  &  possible  vote  to  confirm  appointment.  Relevant  Bylaw:  Rules  &  Procedures  SECTION  5:  DATA  BASE  -­‐  Database  Coordinator  -­‐  There  shall  be  a  Database  Coordinator  that  is  responsible  for  managing  the  Database  according  to  the  direction  set  by  the  County.    Among  his/her  tasks,  the  Database  Coordinator  would  be  responsible  for  maintaining  the  database,  including  cleaning  and  updating  the  email  addresses,  and  entering  information  as  needed  that  comes  from  web  and  phone  referrals,  the  GPCA  from  its  fundraising  and  volunteer  records,  and  from  any  Green  local  or  candidate  that  chooses  to  share  it.  Sponsored  by  Coordinator,  Michael  McCue    

• 11-­‐b)  -­‐  DATABASE  COMMITTEE  MEMBERS    (10  MIN)  Consensus  Question:  Who  shall  serve  as  Database  Committee  Members  for  the  2012-­‐2014  term?  Discussion,  Nominations,  &  possible  vote  to  confirm  appointment.  BYLAW-­‐REQUIRED  ACTION  /Relevant  Bylaw:  Rules  &  Procedures  –  Section  5  -­‐  Database  Committee  -­‐  There  shall  be  a  Database  Committee  that  shall  work  with  the  Database  Coordinator  to  help  implement  County  Council  direction  regarding  the  Database.  The  Committee  shall  include  the  GPLAC  co-­‐coordinators,  the  Database  Coordinator  as  well  as  additional  members  as  appointed  by  the  County  Council.  The  Database  Committee  shall  create  options  for  GPLAC  members,  so  that  they  could  receive  by  email,  the  type  of  information  they  are  interested  in.  This  would  include  notice  of  County  Council  elections  (and  filing  deadlines),  notice  of  the  election  of  GPLAC  Officers  and  GPLAC  reps  to  the  GPCA  CC,  County  Council  meetings  and  agendas,  and  other  items  directed  by  the  County  Council.  Sponsored  by  Coordinator,  Michael  McCue

• 11-­‐e)  -­‐  ELECTION  OF  GPLACC  TREASURER  ~  Nominations  &  Election  of  Treasurer  for  the  GPLAC  2012-­‐2014  term  (10  min)    Background:  Treasurer,  Anthony  Vierya  has  resigned  this  position.  BYLAW-­‐REQUIRED  ACTION  /RELEVANT  BYLAW:  Section    6-2.1 The County Council shall select a Treasurer. The term shall be for the same term of office as the County Council, unless otherwise specified by the County Council. The voting procedure shall be by Instant Run-Off (IRV), using a simple majority threshold, and including the No Other Candidate option, as referenced in the GPCA Bylaws.      

• 11-­‐f)  –  POSSIBLE  APPOINTMENT  OF  ASST.  TREASURER (to authorize individuals to be able to assist our Treasurer, and to sign and endorse checks, in the Treasurer’s absence) ~ (10  min) Consensus  Question  #1:  Shall  the  GPLACC  APPROVE  THE  OUTGOING  Treasurer’s  recommendation  that  an  Asst.  Treasurer  be  established?  (Possible  Consensus  Question  #2:  Whom  shall  serve  as  Asst.  Treasurer?)  BYLAWS-­‐SUGGESTED  RULE: Section 6-2.3 The Treasurer may recommend an Assistant Treasurer to the County Council for affirmation.
