A blue state of Wisconsin means that the session is open to employees from
all state agencies.
The DOA Logo means that the session is open to only employees of the
Department of Administration and its attached agencies.
A clock means that 1 hour of EEO/Diversity credit is given for that session.
Note: The session may offer more than 1 hour of EEO/Diversity, so there may

Microsoft Excel 1
“What’s going on?” is a question often asked by Excel users. To find the answer, an
understanding of cell contents, cell formats, and cell references (relative, absolute,
mixed) is crucial. In addition, it’s important to understand the “language of Excel” so that
formulas and functions can easily be written to accomplish everyday tasks. Try it…you’ll
like it!

with data “records” that are arranged in columns and rows? If so, come learn the
advantages of formatting your data as a table. This session will also cover useful functions
and introduce you to the basics of creating and modifying charts. Try it…you’ll like it!

Microsoft Excel 3
Excel includes many useful “database” functions for getting the answers you need out of
data—or simply creating a PivotTable may be the way to go. There are “What-If” tools
that allow you to compare one scenario to another without compromising existing data.
So cool! Is there a task that you perform over and over? If so, you may consider creating
a macro so that it can be done with a single click! This session will surely get your wheels
turning! Try it…you’ll like it!
