Course Lead Trainers
Christina Mroz, M-HYI, E-RYT 200 Christina Mroz’s mission is to inspire complete fitness to people of all ages and all abilities. With over 1000 hours of yoga training and more than a decade instructing yoga and Pilates, Christina understands how the human body works and the common postural issues people face. Christina teaches classes to babies and parents, children, older adults, people with disabilities and pregnant women. Christina is also passionate about educating women about their God-designed bodies and how to holistically treat many common female
disorders and conditions that are often kept in secrecy and are typically covered in isolation and shame. By bringing these issues into the light, Christina empowers women to share about their struggles and pursue health in body and freedom in heart. She has developed curriculum to assist women who deal with problems such as prolapsed uterus, diastasis recti, and pelvic floor disorders. Christina is the host of the Pre-Natal & Back Care Holy Yoga DVD and the Kids’ Holy Yoga DVD, and is co-author of the Kids’ Holy Yoga Scripture Cards. She is the Director of Holy Yoga’s Specialty Training Programs, which include Baby/Toddler Holy Yoga, Chair/Senior Holy Yoga, Pregnancy Holy Yoga, Holy Yoga with Weights, and Holy Yogalates.
Izabel Olson, M-HYI Izabel was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Izabel’s lifelong commitment to education includes ten years as a teacher before transitioning to Northwestern University where she earned her Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences. As a teacher, Izabel also led the IT department for the British school in Rio and developed the bilingual curriculum to be implemented nationally at Escola Anglo Americano. At Northwestern she explored the link between culture and cognition with low income students in Brazil. Having been an Ashtanga yoga enthusiast for eight years, Izabel earned her teacher training
certification from Moksha yoga in Chicago. During a trip to India to deepen her yogic studies, she became conflicted with her faith and yoga passion. After almost quitting yoga, she found Holy Yoga ministries which allowed her to combine her passion for yoga and her love for God. Izabel initially began teaching Holy Yoga to the female inmates at the Cook County Jail in Chicago. However, she longed for the opportunity to work with children again. She signed up for the Kids Holy yoga training where she has been blessed to find a growing ministry where she can be silly, dance around, make weird faces, and love children to God. As the good Latina she is, Izabel has trouble being brief, so her favorite Bible verse is not a verse, but a chapter: Hebrew 11.

What is Holy Yoga? Holy Yoga exists because in a broken and hurting world everyone deserves a place to belong. Holy Yoga
is an experiential worship created to deepen people's connection to Christ. Our sole purpose is to
facilitate a Christ honoring experience that offers an opportunity to believers and non-believers alike to
authentically connect to God through His Word, worship, and wellness. Holy Yoga exists to carry the
Gospel to the ends of the earth through the modality of yoga.
Our intention is to live out four pillars of purpose.
● Community - We are here to serve. We long to create a place for everyone to belong, from the
Christian who is afraid of yoga to the Christian who loves yoga; from the yogi to the seeker; from
the non-believer to those who believe differently. We welcome the diversity, anticipate great
conversations and are excited to facilitate authentic community.
● Yoga - We are a highly regarded international yoga instructor training program. Our staff has
collectively participated in and completed some of the most well-known yoga certification
programs. With years of experience and training, they collaborate to offer a stellar training that
truly cannot be compared with any other. Whatever your desire, upon graduating you will have
the education and tools you need to facilitate Holy Yoga in your sphere of influence. Holy Yoga
does not water down the truth or the experience for seekers. It invites them into a world class
yoga experience, one that offers both physical and spiritual sustenance.
● Christ-Centeredness - We are Christ-centered. Knowing who we are invites others to come into
the fullness of their unique identity. Holy Yoga training is here to equip you to facilitate a Christ-
honoring experience that offers the opportunity for believers and non-believers alike to
authentically connect to God through His Word, worship, and wellness. Holy Yoga exists to
bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth through the modality of yoga.
● Living Beyond Ourselves - We are keenly aware of our world. It is broken and many are hurting.
Our desire is to have eyes, arms and hearts wide open. We are creating a community of those
willing to go beyond themselves to influence this world in the unique ways God has called them.
We do not know all things, and we long for the mystery of God to guide us. We want to speak
truth, listen to stories, and discuss the in-between, finding the thread of service and ministry
throughout.

What is Kids Holy Yoga? Kids Holy Yoga is the Holy Yoga experience for kids aged birth to 14. Kids Holy Yoga’s purpose is to
foster a connection with children to God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—using Bible stories animated
by yoga postures, breathing exercises and through meditating on God’s Word. We teach the Bible
through movement, songs, playful and prayerful activities, arts & crafts and visual meditations while
modeling joy, peace, patience, kindness and self-control. Kids Holy Yoga Instructors begin to teach
children that their bodies are temples of the living God. Parents, teachers, home-school teachers,
Sunday school teachers and other adult caregivers make ideal Kids Holy Yoga Instructors.
