Course Outcome:
To acquire knowledge about importance of manufacturing process and basic classification of
manufacturing processes.
To understand different types of manufacturing processes and to differentiate conventional and
non-conventional machining.
Applying the processes like casting, forging, welding and forming processes to manufacture a
product used in day to day life.
To analyze, how to reduce the time for the machining and also to produce a product
economically.
