CLAHRC South LondonThe Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) South London isinvestigating the best way to make tried and tested treatments and servicesroutinely available. University-basedresearchers, health professionals, patients and service users are workingtogether to make this happen.Thecollaborating organisations are Guy’sand St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust,Health Innovation Network (the NHSEngland-funded academic healthscience network in south London),King’s College Hospital NHS FoundationTrust, King’s College London, King’sHealth Partners, St George’s HealthcareNHS Trust, St George’s, University ofLondon and South London andMaudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The work of the CLAHRC SouthLondon is funded for five years (from 1January 2014) by the National Institutefor Health Research, collaboratingorganisations and local charities. It is ‘hosted’ by King’s College HospitalNHS Foundation Trust.

IntroductionThe information in this document is based on a review of all university websitesacross London, the Open University and two major online education providers, BMJ Quality and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. The review was carriedout by What Matters Cubed and completed in August 2014. It provided a snapshot of education and training supporting implementation science, improvement science and service improvement and is informing the development of an MSc in improvement/implementation science that will be launched by the CLAHRC South London in 2015 (see page 16). Since then, the availability and websiteaddresses of all the courses/fellowship opportunities in the original review have been checked and updated. If details of a course/fellowship are nolonger available, or a course/fellowship opportunity is no longer recruiting, they have not been included in the main listings. Instead, the organisation thatoffered the opportunity is included in a section at the back of this document. Somecourses/fellowships not included in the original snapshot have been added to themain listings. The availability of courses and fellowships may change in future.

Information in this report is based on work carried out by: Health Education South London

This work was made possible by the generous support of Health Education SouthLondon (HESL), as part of its funding to the Health Innovation Network to supporteducation and training initiatives and to the CLAHRC South London to build capacityin implementation science. As part of Health Education England, HESL is workingwith its members to plan, design, develop and deliver a workforce to improve thehealth and wellbeing of south London’s communities, supporting the delivery ofworld class care and high quality patient outcomes through education and traininghttp://southlondon.hee.nhs.uk
