Not surprisingly, in this city are alternating leading academics from major universities around the world, musicians, actors, and foreign artists from different disciplines, with many art, literature and science devotees.

Within this framework, for 22 years has been possible the growing of Escuela Nacional de Caricatura, institution designed and maintained by cartoonists and managers Colombian, who had gained an outstanding placeplace in this range of cultural, educational, for teaching graphics and narrative genres and, gradually, from these, has set a bid with its own profile in different fields of arts and communication. Throughout its historhistory, and through this rich context, the Escuela has opened spaces for exchanging with other culture fields such literature, design, urbanism, cinema, rock music and the arts.

Latin American Art History

An investigation into Latin America iconography and regional experiences on Cartoons necessarily lead to the need to contextualize these events in a culturalcultural history of Latin America. Exchanging students may recognize the various arts manifestations on this side of the worldworld since pre-Columbian, to the fascinating world today, completing his academic work at our headquarters with site visits to museumsmuseums and cultural attractions in Bogota and surrounding areas.
