Introduction

The health and safety of every BTN employee is our top priority. As we expand and restart our studio and live game productions, the following set of guidelines were developed to outline the protocols we are taking to ensure the health and safety of you and your fellow employees. It is imperative that every employee take personal responsibility for protecting themselves, as well as those around them.

These guidelines may be modified due updated guidance from the CDC or other governmental agencies and/or changes to FOX corporate or Big Ten Conference policies.

General Guidelines

• All health and safety protocols in this document follow the FOX Corporate recommended principles of social distancing, employee screening, hand sanitizing, and facility/equipment disinfecting, which are based on CDC and OSHA guidelines.

• All personnel are forbidden to enter BTN production facilities if they are recently or currently experiencing symptoms of illness, including fever or cough.

• Personnel assigned to work on BTN productions will be limited to essential staff only.• Notifications, e.g. signage, announcements, barriers, floor markings, will be used to enforce and remind individuals to

maintain six (6) feet of spacing.• Hand sanitizer or soap and water will be provided at or near the entrance of facilities and in multiple other appropriate areas.• Sanitization wipes and cleaners will be provided to workers and they will regularly clean their workspaces.• Facilities will be regularly disinfected with frequent sanitizing of high-touch surfaces.• As part of FOX Corporation, all BTN employees are required to wear a face covering or mask while in workplace settings, at onsite sports production,

and during business travel. The use of face coverings slows the spread of the virus by preventing infected persons from transmitting it to others. Coverings should:

• Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face;• Be secured with ties or ear loops;• Include multiple layers of fabric;• Allow for breathing without restriction;• Be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage to shape;• Be removed without the user touching their eyes, nose, and mouth;• Be routinely washed, depending on the frequency of use, by hand or in washing machine;• Be inspected prior to daily use to assess the integrity of the fabric, loops and ties; and• Be replaced when the fabric, loops or ties are frayed or the covering no longer fits close to the face.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines

The health and safety of our employees is our #1 priority. We have created a robust, multi-faceted approach to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This document serves as an outline for our

four-part risk mitigation strategy. This strategy was developed in conjunction with FOX Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and is based on the latest CDC guidelines.

Self-Screening via WorkCare

• All personnel working on a BTN production will be required to be screened via an online tool called WorkCare. • Prior to each employee’s first scheduled work day, they will receive an email invitation to register on WorkCare.• The WorkCare tool will prompt a series of screening questions related to how you feel, have you been sick lately,

have you traveled lately, etc. • Instructions will be provided by your HR business partner as to when and how often the screening tool must be

used prior to and during each employee’s scheduled production days.• The information you provide is entirely confidential, and is intended to keep everyone safe and healthy. If the

answers you provide require additional follow-up, HR or WorkCare will be in touch.

600W Building ProtocolsFace Coverings• All tenants and visitors to 600 W Chicago are required to wear face coverings to enter the building, and within all public common areas

Social Distancing and High Touch Areas• Depending on the current tenant occupancy levels, a queue system will be setup in the lobby to ensure social distancing while waiting for elevators, stairwell access or

visitor check-in line. • A maximum of 4 riders are allowed in each elevator.• To eliminate unnecessary touch points, we have made the following changes:

• Elevator touch pads in the upper floor 600 lobbies have been programmed to automatically call a car to the lobby upon waving your access card.• Common area restrooms on multi-tenant floors now have door pulls to allow touchless entry and exit.• New scanners and printers have been installed at the security console to offer a process that eliminates physical exchanges between visitors and security. • Common area drinking fountains are closed in accordance with the City of Chicago plan.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols• Since the onset of the pandemic, we have enhanced our on-site cleaning and disinfection program to exceed CDC guidelines, including nightly cleanings of high-touch

surfaces across public common areas while using EPA-registered disinfectants.

Building Systems Maintenance• In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy physical environment for our tenant community, we have scheduled regular evaluations and maintenance of our building

systems including HVAC, plumbing, elevators and emergency systems. Specific building HVAC efforts include the following:• All AHU filters were changed and replaced with MERV 13 filters, MERV 14 filters will be used in the next rotation.• 100% fresh air exchanges occurring regularly, along with daily HVAC pre and post operation hour purges.• All air registers sanitized.• MEP consultant assessed 600 WC HVAC systems to ensure we meet or exceed all ASHRAE requirements to promote an excellent indoor air quality environment

Screening – Building Staff and Contractors• All building staff, including security, maintenance and cleaning, are required to take their temperatures and be screened prior to entering the building. This same

screening applies to any contractors that are working within the building.
