CARING, TRAINED COUNSELORS Carefully chosen YMCA Counselors have passed a background check and training in CPR, safety and workingwith children.

CAMP SCHEDULECamp Hours: 9:00 am-4:00 pmFree Pre- & Post-Camp Care: 7:00-9:00 am & 4:00-6:3 0 pm

REGISTRATION INFORMATIONYou may register in person at the Covington Family YMCA.Immunization records (GA Form 3231), registration form,and Metro Atlanta YMCA Waiver are required before yourchild can attend camp. Payment can be made via cash,check, debit or credit card and cannot be made over thephone.

PAYMENTSPayment is due on Friday for the following week of camp.Full payment is required to hold a space in camp each week.Spaces are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Once youhave registered for your first week of camp, you can pay foradditional weeks online at www.ymcaregistration.com.

GENERAL INFORMATIONChildren must be at least 5 years old by the beginning ofthe week they will be attending camp. For camper safetyreasons, no exceptions will be made. We cannot pro-ratefees due to missed days of camp for any reason, nor do weoffer refunds for absences.

YMCA MEMBERSHIPCamp fees are noted for YMCA facility members and program members. Facility members enjoy reduced rates asa benefit of membership. For those who wish to participatein YMCA programs without use of the facility, a yearly feeof $40 per family is required in addition to fees for yourprograms of choice. YMCA facility membership must remain current throughout the summer to qualify for the facilitymember rates.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCETo the fullest extent of our resources, YMCAof Metro Atlanta branches actively seek toreduce YMCA fees for those in need. Pleasecall any local YMCA branch to request a confidential application for financial assistance. Scholarships are limited, aregiven on first come, first serve basis andmay take up to several weeks to process.The following documents are required toapply for scholarships: application, most recent tax document 1040, proof of income,a camp registration form showing the weeksyou would like your child(ren) to attend, thechild’s Georgia Form 3231 and MetroAtlanta YMCA Waiver.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DATESBecause scholarships are limited and givenon a first come, first serve basis, familiesrequesting assistance should submit applications by May 19th. Applications areaccepted throughout the summer, but applicants should expect to wait at leastone week to receive their reduced rate.Please note that a new application must besubmitted each calendar year.

YOUTH CAMP

Day Camp ages 5-12: YMCA Day Camp promotes fun andgrowth in a safe and supportive environment. Campers willswim every day, play organized sports and make arts &crafts that will center around a weekly theme. They will alsohave a field trip or special event each week.MEM: $100 PRO: $110 plus $15 t-shirt fee if needed

TEEN CAMP

Leaders in Training ages 13-15: This is a great opportunityfor teens to gain valuable experience in leadership roles.They will spend their time with younger age groups in campand will be involved in a variety of experiences includinggame facilitation, assisting with arts and crafts, setup andcleanup, leadership workshops, character development activities, and shadowing of camp counselors. LITs will enjoytraditional camp activities (daily swimming, weekly fieldtrips, etc.) while learning valuable leadership skills. MEM: $75 PRO $80 plus $15 t-shirt fee if needed

T-SHIRTS

Last year’s t-shirts will be used again thisyear. Every youth & LIT camper must wearcamp t-shirt daily, but you are not requiredto purchase new shirts if last year’s still fitand are still in good condition. The t-shirtsare sold in packs of three for $15.
