1. This question requires you to edit a document by following the steps below.

a) Retrieve the document F1 Singapore.doc .

b) Edit the document according to the following instructions.

i. Format the font of the heading at the top of the page as 12 point size, boldArial. Replace A. Student with your name. Underline the heading.

ii. Change Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix to F1 Singapore 2009throughout the document.

iii. Delete the paragraph starting with While some enthusiasts .

iv. Move the paragraph starting Commencing 20 September to above theparagraph starting The plan is that . Set first line indent to 1.5 cm.

v. Format drop caps for the first paragraph of the document.

vi. Import the graphics logo.jpg and place it above the heading.

vii. Add a picture watermark using logo.jpg with auto scale and check thewashout.

viii. Insert a text box 2 cm by 14 cm (Height by Width) below the paragraphstarting With the exception .Centralize the text box.

ix. Type the following text into the text box you have inserted.

2. You are required to edit a spreadsheet, carry out some calculations and create a pie chart.Save your work each time you finish a task.

a) Retrieve the spreadsheet F1 tickets.xls . Replace the contents of A1 with your name.Save the spreadsheet as Tickets sold.xls .

b) Change the number in cell C8 to 11.

c) Insert the following data at row 7.

Turn 3 Grandstand $1188 10

c) Format the cell range C5:C10 to centralised.

d) Enter a formula into cell D5 to find the Amount.

e) Copy the formula in cell D5 to the range D6:D10 so that the Amount for other TicketType are calculated automatically.

f) Enter a formula into cell D12 to calculate the Grand Total.

g) Sort D5:D10 according to the Amount in descending order.

h) Print a current version of your spreadsheet to hand in.

i) Alter the view of the spreadsheet to display formulae.

j) Set the print area to A1:D12 and obtain a printout to hand in.

3. You are required to produce a mail merge.

a) Retrieve the document F1 Singapore.doc .

b) Make the document a merge document.

c) Select the file ADDRESS.xls as source data.

d) Insert the following merge fields at the top of page 2 of your document.
