Intro Italian 11: Una città italianaIn this project you are choosing a city in Italy and are creating a presentation about it. You can use PowerPoint, Prezi, or whatever form of presentation you would like. It must include the following:

1. Title Page : A title page with the name of the city, map of Italy with the city clearly labelled, several pictures, and your name.

In English:

2. Present 3 activities that a tourist would want to do or places one would visit in that city. (You should research this using tourist websites like virtualtourist.com or tripadvisor.ca.)

3. Each activity or place will need its own slide including several pictures to show the area and activity.

4. One of the slides should include a video no longer than 60 seconds (youtube will have many) of one of your tourist locations. Please insert it into one of your slides.

In Italian:

5. On one slides, answer the following questions in full sentences in Italian:• How many people live in the city? (Use the construction: In your city ci sono…) • Where is the city located? (“City” si trova al… dell’Italia.)• Answer the following question. “Se potessi andare in (your city), la prima cosa che vorrei

fare sarebbe __________.” (If I could go to _________, the first thing I would like to do would be to _____________.)

We will work on the project for 2 class days and this project will be due: __________________. If you realize that you will not be able to get it done in those two days, work on it on your own time so that it can be handed in on time. Use your time wisely!
