CPE Policies and Important Information:REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee for an 8 hour event includes cost of eMaterials, instruction, lunch and breaks. Broadcast seminar fees do not include meals. All registrations must be accompanied by full payment, or government voucher before a seat is reserved in the course. SCACPA does not invoice for the course registration fee. Pay-ment may be in the form of a personal or company check, or charged to an American Express, Discover, MasterCard or VISA.

REGISTRATION MODIFICATION: Substitutions, transfers and cancellations will not be accepted by phone. These items must be in writing and emailed to [email protected], faxed to (803)791-4196, or mailed to SCACPA, 570 Chris Drive, West Columbia, SC 29169, before the event date. You will receive confirmation of your request via email, fax or phone within one day. If you do not, it is your responsibility to verify the office received the request. Any balance after a transfer or cancellation may be applied to another program or refunded. Refunds, substitutions, transfers and cancella-tions are not accepted after eMaterials are uploaded to the website. Complete registration policy can be viewed online at www.scacpa.org/cpepolicies.

CONFIRMATION: A confirmation is sent to each registered participant. The confirmation is computer generated and mailed or emailed after payment is received and processed. If you do not receive a confirmation within 3-5 business days after registering, please contact the SCACPA office to confirm your registration. If you register late, you may not receive a confirmation before the course.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: If you have a specific need while attending a class at SCACPA or off-site, we

will do our best to accommodate you. Please notify us of your need at the time of registration or at least two weeks prior to course date. You may find it necessary to bring a light jacket or sweater to programs. Room temperatures vary and we want you to be as comfortable as possible to get the most out of your training experience.

EMATERIALS: Effective April 1, 2013, unless otherwise noted, materials for all courses and conferences will be provided electronically3 business days prior to the program date. FEE DESCRIPTIONSEarly Bird: SCACPA members who register with payment at least three weeks before the event.

Members: SCACPA members who register with payment less than three weeks before the event. If you are a CPA living outside of South Carolina and are a member of another state CPA society, you can take advantage of the member fee.

Non-Members: Anyone that is not a member of the SCACPA or any other state CPA society must pay the non-member rate.

CPE When and Where You Want It!

BROADCAST (Formerly Satellite) - Full-day broadcast are delivered to public sites by broadband Internet technology. Each site is a classroom setting where groups of professionals from the same area come together to participate in a course. Prior to the course, participants will be provided the course manual electronically. The program will be presented on one or more large screens or monitors.

CUSTOMIZED ONSITE TRAINING – This is a highly cost-effective solution for training needs. Programs are high-quality training designed for you when and where you want it.

SELF-STUDY (Includes On-Demand) – Through our partnerships, SCACPA offers hundreds of programs online that are available on-demand. Programs are QAS approved.

SEMINARS – Programs are offered across the state in two to eight hour formats to meet your needs and provide an opportunity to connect with other professionals.

WEBCASTS – Broadcasting over the Internet, webcasting technologies use streaming media technologies to broadcast audio and video or audio only with PowerPoint slides (optional) to a large audience. Live webcasts allow questions to be emailed or faxed to the presenter.

WEBINARS – Through collaborative interaction over the Internet, web conferencing allows a presenter to show an audience what is on his/her computer screen and collaborate in a number of ways.
