very Happy New Year.

Our range is rapidly growing and we

have received some wonderul eedback

regarding the products we released last year,

and hope that we can continue to excite

you all with what we have in store or this

upcoming year . I am very ortunate as my

hobby has turned into a antastic job and

YES I get paid to scrapbook all day. But with

every new product released it means more

work so I would like to take this opportunity

to welcome Al and Sandra to our design

team as well as taking some pressure rom

me they are loads o un to work with and

wonderul additions to our scrap room.

Now is it just me or has the past year just

own by? When I look back, it doesnt seem

that long ago, my little babies were in my

arms and now my youngest has just fnished

Prep. On page 8 we have our Time Flies

clock which you can create using photos o

your child at dierent ages to remind you

o how time does just y by, but also it is a

great addition to your childs room. Our new

Accordian Frame set is another project you

can do the same with and is a great keepsake

or makes a perect git or someone special.

Beore we get too ar into the New Year I hope

you all get the chance to sit back and reect

on the past year and remember some o

those special moments. I you are anything

like me you will have so many photos o

these moments ready to be scrapped. I you

reer to page 31 o this Workshop you will

see we have just released a Tag and Mini

Album range . These cute little albums are

quick and simple to create so you will be able

to make one or almost any occasion.

Each month we are adding to our paper

range and they are just getting better and

better. I know I get excited every time a

new range is released so we have included

a special section in this workshop which

details all our new and current papers so you

can do the same.

We have other great projects included in

this issue. The only thing missing are your

precious photographs will that will help you

remember some o those special times you

have had over the past year. So grab the

products needed rom your local scrap store

and get together with some riends and

enjoy making some o these projects.

Paint all the album edges in white and set aside to dry. Take the

piece that will become your ront cover and paint in Pretty Pink

Kaisercolour and allow to dry.

Choose coordinating papers rom the Little Miss Collection andadhere them to the remaining nine sides o the album. Once

dry, trim o the overhanging edges and around any holes with

a sharp crat knie.

t give yr pages a 3d ee, cut out owers and mount them

with oam tape.

Decorate the remaining pages as desired, with photos, quotes

or messages o your choice. You may choose to print out desired

quotes on to some coordinating cardstock or simply place rubons

directly onto your pages.

Further embellish with Rhinestones, Rubons and Paper Flowers.

I have used a white gel pen to add some doodling to the owers

and paper.

Once your pages are complete, use a small oam brush and

gently swipe white paint around the edges to give them a

sot distressed look. Join album together with a split ring and

embellish by tying some matching ribbon onto it.

edges.

Using Pretty Pink Kaisercolour colour, paint both sides o all the

pieces o the handbag, including the edges, and allow to dry. I

you use a lighter shade you may have to apply more than one

coat o paint.


using rinaing paper rom the Bloom collection, coverall your outside pieces. For a dierent eect I have placed the

striped piece on an angle and then trimmed the overhanging

edges with a crat knie.

Next glue your handbag together. You may need to use oversized

rubber bands to hold the pieces together whilst they dry.

Now its time to embellish your handbag as desired. From this

paper collection I have cut 6 dierent owers that coordinate

with the stripes. Once you have worked out where you would

like to place them, this may mean moving them around until

you are happy with the layout, mount them with oam tape to

give them a 3D eect.

Girls LOVE bling so add Rhinestones to the centre o the owers

to give them extra sparkle. Finally to complete your handbag,

use matching ribbon and tie a bow around the handle.

and allow to dry.

Cut the ollowing paper sizes rom the Little Man paper collec-

tion:

29.5cm x 18.5cm Cheeky paper

29.5cm x 9.5cm Adorable paper

29.5cm x 2.5cm Curious paper

Making sure that your clock mechanism hole is in the top right

hand corner, adhere the Cheeky sheet o paper to the top sec-

tion o your clock.

Next take your piece of Adorable paper and adhere it to the bot -

tom o the clock. Then take the strip o Curious paper and ad-here it over the join o the above two pieces.

With your antique white paint, gently apply to ront edges o

clock to give a distressed look.

Pain he eges the rame piece beore covering with coordi-

nating paper. Again, turn over and trim any overhanging paper.

Attach some ribbon to the frame and secure with matching-

brads. Tape three 7 x 7cm photos to the back o the rame. Posi-tion rame onto clock ace at desired angle and adhere.

Paint some chipboard letters and numbers in matching

colours and glue to your clock ace. From the patterned paper

cut out two clouds and a sun and glue these around the clock

mechanism hole.

Embellish urther i desired with buttons or bling.

Assembe yr k mehanism to your clock ace. I you have

trouble doing so you can download urther instructions rom

our website. To assemble the clock stand, simply slot together

and glue to secure. Once it is dry you can paint it a matching

colour, I have used mango.

Place your fnished clock on the stand to display and your project

is complete.

the six rames into individual pieces. Using a sharp

crat knie you can trim o the tabs to the edge o

the rames, and then using a sanding block, sand

the sides smooth.

Paint all o the edges and and both sides using

Pretty Pink Kaisercolour, and allow to dry.

to cover your rames. Glue the papers to the rames, and once drytrim o any overhanging edges and cut out the centre pieces.

Embellish your rames as desired with bling, cut out owers or

rubons. You can mount some cut out owers with oam tape or

a 3d eect.

Next take 6 5.5 x 5.5cm photos and adhere them to the backs of

the rames.

Finay, ake a ng sripo ribbon and adhere all your rames

together to make an accordian shape. You can then glue a

smaller square o cardstock onto the back o each rame to

hide the ribbon and give it extra strength.

Using a matching colour, we have used antique white, paint all

o your planner edges.

Choose coordinating papers rom the To Have & To Hold

collection to cover your planner pages in. After covering one side,be sure to cut out the holes so you can see where to cut when

you cover the other side.

Take some chipboard letters and paint them mathing colours.

Once dry you can add dimensional magic to the letters (i

desired) and then adhere your headings to the right side o your

pages.

Nw i is ime erae the inside pages. You can make inserts

with tabs to suit you headings and give you more room to

write. In the receipts page we have cut a 17.75 x 11.75cm piece

o matching paper and adhered it to create a pocket. You can

embellish the other page as desired.

To complete your planner, add a heading and embellishments to

decorate. Then simply clip the planner together with metal split

rings and decorate with ribbon. Now its time to get planning!

your papers, paint all edges o the wooden pieces and

set aside to dry. More than one coat o paint may be

necessesary i you have chosen a pale color.

1s canvas Using the Wanderer paper, decide which part o

the design you wish to display and then cut it into a 14 x 14 cm

square and adhere to one o the wooden canvases

2nd Canvas Decide upon a photo to feature on this canvas and

print it out. Crop the photo to a 14 x 14 cm square and again

adhere to the next wooden piece.

3rd Canvas Cut the ollowing pieces

7 x 14 cm rectangle from Vagabond Traveler (blue side)

9 x 9 cm square of Vagabond Traveler (oral side)

7 x 14 cm rectangle from the Vagabond Gypsy

Place the two 7x14cm pieces, one above the other on the last

wooden canvas and adhere a piece o red ribbon over the join

in the centre.

Take your small square coaster and paint around the edges with

antique white. Set aside to dry and then cover this coaster with

the 9x9 piece of patterned paper and carefully trim the roundedcorners.

To create the three dimensional eect on this piece we have

adhered a small at piece o wood under the coaster to give it

extra height.

Pain a wen frish in a co-ordinating color and adhere to

the top o your canvas, just underneath the top o the coaster.

Add a few pearls above the ribbon on either sides of the coaster

to complete you project.

collection is my avourite. The desgin team are doing an awesome

job and they just keep getting better and better!
