Relate you/the program/event to your audience Highlight what makes you/ the program/event special and timely End with a request a meeting, attendance at an event, or follow up phone call

Tips Make it relevant to your audience dont leave them asking so what? Have a standard elevator speech prepared but modify it for different audiences Try using your elevator speech during phone messages and cold calls Be positive and dont rush through your elevator speech Maintain eye contact and watch body language to see if they want to know more or less
