Crafty: Have some cool yarn but no idea how to use it? Get Crafty! Saw something cool on a craft blog but don’t have the tools or materials to make it. Crafty allows you to get craft ideas based on supplies you already have. Just fill out the questions in The Craft Creator and get crafting!

1. The login and sign up buttons can be selected by clicking them. When a button is selected it chan-ges to a navy button with white type.

2. This menu is available on the portrait orientation but has been replaced by just buttons in the land-scape version.

3. When selected the social media buttons will direct users to the Crafty Instagram, Twitter and Facebook page respectively.

Crafty Home: The homepage of the app. From here new users are able to login to existing accounts or sign up for a new account.

1. When selected this button directs users to the Crafty home page.

2. Users can make a scallop menu bar disappear by tapping it. To make the menu visible again the user may swipe from the bottom of the screen up in portrait orientation and from the right to the left in landscape orientation. Menus remain at the bottom or side of the screen even when scrolling.

1. A user can select a tool by tapping the bar or name of the tool. When selected the bar will turn navy and the tool’s name will become white. To deselect a tool the user would just tap the select-ed item again.

2. The submit is at the bottom of the page. Submit buttons are selectable by touch. In their active state they change to navy buttons with white type. For an example of the active state please view the next page.

New User Survey: After creating an account the user will need to fill out a survey. The survey will create a permanent list of tools that the user has. This means they will not have to select every tool they want to use every time they want to do a new craft later.

1. When white form boxes are selected the apple keyboard will appear and the user is then able to type in any information. When the form is dese-lected, the keyboard will disappear.

User Page:The user page is the page that will appear every time a user who has already signed up and logged in to the app opens the app. This page links a user to all other pages within the app.

1. Users can sort through their craft results by using the drop down menu to sort crafts from easy to hard, hard to easy, more to less time and less to more time. They can also narrow down their search by tool or material.

Loves/Bookmarks:Whenever a user loves or bookmarks a craft it appears on these pages. They can then sort through the crafts and look at the instructions for each.

2. In landscape orientation an arrow scrolls down the page with the user. When selected, the arrow will bring a user back to the top of that page.

Craft Choices:Once a user has taken the new craft survey of which tools and materials they have, they are given options of crafts they may like to do. Those will appear on the craft choices page.

1. Users swipe forward/to the right or backward/to the left to see the next or previous step in the craft instructions.

2. The menu bar on the craft instructions pages includes a back button, love button and book-mark button. When the love or bookmark button is selected the craft is then saved to the user’s respective lists which can be accessed from their user page.

3. If a craft has already been loved or bookmarked it will be highlighted in either pink or blue. Items can be unloved or unbookmarked by selecting the button again, the color will then change to navy.

Craft Instructions:Once a user has selected which craft they would like to do they are brought to the instructions for that craft.

Step 1:Cut yourself a template for your flags. You canmake them any size or shape. Triangles are themost traditional, but I have seen rectangles and squares as well.

Step 5: Open the bias tape and place the topof your flags in the fold. It may be helpful toiron the bias tape open first. Then pin your flags down. After you have it all pinned, run it through the sewing machine. Or, if you arefeeling ambitious you can hand sew it. If youhand sew it, try using a fun color of floss to makea stripe on your bias tape. Make sure you leave yourself extra bias tape at the ends so you will be able to hang your pennants. Also be aware ofthe spacing of your flags, I used a ruler to evenlymeasure the spaces out.

Step 3: Lay out your cut pieces and attach the interfacing following the ins-tructions on the package.I am using the iron-on kind, I also put a piece of fabric down so I wouldn't get interfacing on the ironing bo-ard. The interfacing will help your flags stand stiffer when they arehung up. Just as a note, some people would put interfacing on before cutting the fabric. I chose to do it after so I could save the Liberty fabric.
