Process:For this project we used Adobe Illustrator. I actually enjoyed this project. It was fun to create and usedifferent things. I started by making my first 3 logos. I had never used before. I used trial and error to comeup with the best designs. Some received very good feedback, and others, not so much. A lot of people likedthis one, but they said their needed to be some tweaks to it. I made the tweaks needed and this is what Ihave created. I think this turned out well and would be a good logo.

Objectives:Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography.Incorporate basic InDesign skills to improve basic flier layout.Retrieve image and logo from links on this page.Create a project folder with image, logo and InDesign document to keep links in InDesign intact.

Process:For the flier I used InDesign and also one of the pictures and logos provided for us. Some of the FOCUSelements I used was formulate and simplify. I first formulated a plan by putting the boxes up first with noinformation, just so I had an idea as to where I wanted to put my designs. I then tried to keep it very simple. This is a straight-forward event, so I kept it simple and took out unnecessary parts that made it seem over-the-top or that just did not fit well with it.
