Nylon Infill ShelvingOur nylon infill system has the key advantages of aluminium shelving at a more economical price.
Key benefits include removable panels for for ease of cleaning and storage of tall items, fantastic weight loading and shelf top wires which run from front to back for ease of storage.

Drip Tray ShelvingThis shelving innovation has been developed from discussions with chefs. Designed to minimise food spoiling during storage and prevent spillage on floors from raw meat. Other applications include air drying of pots and crockery whilst preventing excess water on floors or between levels.

Guard rails prevent the problem of storing products that have the chance of falling from the racking. They are easily attach and detachable to enable the storage or removal of products.
Wall brackets are used to attach and support the complete shelving system to the wall. These are particularly useful when the shelving is heavily loaded.

Nylon Infill Shelving
This solution has many advantages over alternative systems. Shelves are not fixed into place so the system retains infinitely adjustable shelf heights and the ability to use shelf hooks, aiding and optimising shelf space.
Panels can be individually removed whilst not effecting the shelf’s loading capacity. Removable panels aid cleaning and can be washed through most standard catering dishwashers.

Nylon Coated Drip Tray Shelving System
Innovative, thinking and design has developed a shelving system which during storage minimises cross contamination and food spoiling.
Bottom level shelves prevent drips on floors, saving cleaning time under units. The system can also be used for potwash drying area, providing a continual air flow not associated with solid shelving, whilst preventing wet floors and drips between levels.
Shelving units can be ordered in any configuration dependent on the requirement, there is also an attachable version which can be clipped to existing Craven units.
Usages:Fridge, freezer or dry storage, glass crockery and pan drying.

High Density Firmatrack Cravens aluminium shelving has key benefits including removable and washable infill panels, light weight anodised frame, modular construction and can be used in a variety of environments.
Aluminium shelving is assembled differently to our standard Firmashelf as the uprights combine to allow for continuous runs.

Alternatively, we offer our free standing Pigeon Hole Style Wine Racks to add an attractive and elegant touch to front of house wine storage. Our pigeon hole racks are free standing units, finished in silver grey nylon. They are fitted with key hole plates to secure to the back wall and are designed as vertical units, although horizontal ones can be manufactured as a bespoke requirement.

After a detailed market review we have decided to offer both smooth and grooved posts to all our customers.
Either option offers no price variation and the choice is simply down to preference.
Standard Post Heights:3 tier smooth posts are 1375mm high4 tier smooth posts are 1675mm high3 tier grooved posts are 1500mm high4 tier grooved posts are 1700mm high
To order shelving units with the smooth posts and one piece gripper system simply order shelving using the standard order codes.

When castors are fitted the overall height is increased by 130mm for the 125mm diameter castors. The overall dimensions over the castor housings are 20mm greater than the units overall size.
For mobile bays, put the bottom shelf as close to the castor fixing bolts as possible.
Shelf hooks, for both wire and solid shelving, eliminate the need for corner posts, allowing improved access to products.

Glide feet reduce friction for easier movement of units and spread the load to reduce indentation on flooring.
Wall fixing brackets are used to attach and support the complete shelving system to the wall. These are particularly useful when the shelving will be heavily loaded.
Post clamps provide extra stability through clamping the posts together in a row or configuration of shelving, useful when large amounts of shelving are being used together.

Key Information The table below shoes the recommended evenly distributed load, based on a shelf deflection at 0.5% of the shelf length.
Example: Based on a 1200mm length shelf
1200 x 0.5% = 6.00 (or 6mm deflection in the centre of the shelf).
Higher loads can be applied if an increased deflection is acceptable, but 0.7% is the maximum recommended safe working load.
These weight loadings do not apply to shelf units fitted with castors, For shelf units fitted with castors the maximum load for a complete bay is 240kg based on a 3 point castor contact.
The table shows the worst case situation i.e. for the widest shelves. Loadings are normally higher for narrowing units.

Wire Mesh Lockers
Craven wire mesh lockers fit most applications and provide excellent ventilation with high visual security. All wire mesh lockers supplied with 150mm legs fitted as standard. this enables ground protection and easy access for cleaning.
Manufactured from 25mm x 25mm x 25mm weld mesh on a 8mm rod frame, doors are fitted with a hasp and staple for use with padlocks (padlocks not supplied).Single and double compartment lockers are fitted with coat hooks and 3 point locking.

Zinc ChromateSUITABLE FOR dry goods storage, dry pan racks, retail display shelving and other similar applications.
NEVER USE in a moist environment such as refrigeration chillers (-5℃ to +3℃) damp or steamy kitchen areas etc, where a constantly fluctuating temperatures causes condensation resulting in a breakdown of the lacquer coating and the eventual corrosion of the basic construction.
NEVER USE where wet or salted food (bacon,cheese, etc) may come into direct contact with the shelf, or where there is any possibility of spillage of an acidic liquid such as vinegar, which will chemically attack the lacquer and plating.
NylonSUITABLE FOR almost any application. The most economical, all purpose, anti corrosive finish available anywhere! Ideal for refrigeration (will tolerate a temperature range from -40℃ to +110℃), deep freeze and wet foods storage. Nylon coating is approved by the Federal Drugs Authority (USA), complies with German legislation on foodstuffs and has National Water Council approval.
NEVER USE where this a possibility of the coating being punctured during use.

These charges are for standard 2-3 day carrier service to UK mainland. Any other request will be quoted for at the time of order.
