Process Create Bill Of Material

Enter Transaction code CS01in command field.

After entering transaction code CS01 in command field Press Enter then you

will get a screen having title, Create Material BOM: Initial Screen.

On this screen you have to enter Material (For which you want to create BOM),

Plant (In which you want to create BOM) and usage (1 - Production). Current

date will appear as a Valid From date.

After entering material, plant and usage press enter then you will get a screen

having title Create material BOM: General Item Overview

On this screen you have to enter Item Category ( L- Stock Item ) , material

number and quantity of the material. Material description and base unit of

measure will be picked from material master and will be displayed on the same

screen in Component Description and Un fields respectively. You can add any

number of components.

Valid from and valid to dates will also appear. Valid From date will be the dateon which you are creating BOM (currant date) and Valid to date will be the

SAP standard date 31.12.9999.

Enter Material number for which you

want to create BOM.

Enter plant in which you want to create

BOM.

After entering item category, component number and component quantity just

press enter , component description and unit of measure will be automatically

picked up from material master.

Select the component and Click the item detail icon which is there on a

toolbar of the same screen.

After clicking on item detail icon you will get a screen having title Create

Material BOM:Item:All data .

Select Item 0010 and click on item

detail icon.

Click on status/Lng Texttab. Following screen will appear.

Enter production storage location

After entering production storage location SAVE (Click on this icon).

Message will appear at as creating BOM for material 22222201#

BOM for material 22222201# created.

Transaction complete.

Enter production storage

location.

Click on this Icon to

SAVE the BOM.
