![Page 4: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
All you need is…
PowerPoint
Or any programme that lets you
use shapes!
![Page 5: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)

impressive personalised icons TODAY!
![Page 6: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Today we’ll look at:
![Page 7: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
This is useful for a home page
icon for websites or for home
contact details on your CV
![Page 8: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
To make this we will use a
familiar tool…
This is built into any PowerPoint
programme and I’m sure other
programmes have something
similar to use!
![Page 9: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
Select a rectangle with curved edges
STEP 1
![Page 10: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Copy this shape and place it slightly
right but leaving a gap in-between
STEP 2
![Page 11: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Create another rectangle and place
it on top of the others
STEP 3
![Page 12: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
The shapes we are using have a ‘fill
colour’ but no ‘outline colour’ …
IMPORTANT TO NOTE!
Otherwise we would notice where we
placed shaped on top of others!
![Page 13: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Place a triangle on top of the shape
(arrange as appropriate)
STEP 4
![Page 14: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Add a curved rectangle and rotate so it
fits level with the rest of the shape
STEP 5
![Page 15: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Copy this shape and rotate as necessary

![Page 16: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
Add a circle as send it backwards so it
sits behind the house

![Page 17: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Give the circle an outline
(the same colour as your house)
STEP 8
![Page 18: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)

![Page 19: Create icons on PowerPoint - the quick and easy guide!](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022042615/55add3951a28aba03b8b45e7/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
