Three years of science

A Typical Science Sequence for Freshmen

9th grade - Physical Science 10th grade - Biology 11th-12th grade - Any course


Students who have excelled and have a high interest in Science:

Take Physical Science as an 8th grader Take Physical Science and Biology as a 9th

grader Take Physical Science as a 9th grader and

Biology and Chemistry as 10th grader

*Students will be able to take more Advanced Placement courses as a junior and senior.


In any year, including Grade 9, students may take more than one science course at a time.

During the 2011-2012 academic year, there are 224 students enrolled in more than one science course.
