To create an application shortcut, point Chrome to www.picnik.com.

Once you are at the Picnik website, click on the Page Menu.

Select Create Application Shortcuts.

A window will open asking where you want the shortcut to live. We’ll choose Desktop.

Here’s the Application Shortcut to Picnik.

Now, if I want to edit a photo in Picnik, I don’t have to go to the website. I can just open my Application Shortcut.

Notice the top of the window. There’s no address bar and no tabs.

But I’m still on the Picnik website. And getting there was fast, thanks to the Application Shortcut.
