  • Graphing Exponential Equations Using a Table of Values: 1.Create a table of values by choosing x-values and substituting them in and solving for y. 2.Determine the labels by reading the context. The x-axis will most likely be time and the y-axis will be the units of the final value. 3.Determine the scales. The scale on the y-axis will need to be large since the values will grow or decline quickly. The value on the x-axis needs to be large enough to show the growth rate or the decay rate.
