FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO CREATE YOUR PARENT ACCOUNT IN POWERSCHOOL
I. Open the internet, go to the district web site (www.bsd111.org) :
II. Click the icon for PowerSchool on the left side
III. Click “Parent Access”
IV. Either click to continue (you may need to scroll down)
Click the bottom link to go to the login screen, click the
top link to access these instructions
V. Click the “Create Account” tab
VI. Click “Create Account”
VII. Fill in the information needed:
Fill in the parent first and last name, e-mail address,
username and password. Note that each parent can
create a separate account if wanted, as long as they
have different e-mail addresses
Fill in the information on the
students(s) to be tracked by this
parent. Each parent account can
track up to 7 students.
The Access ID and Access Password can be found
on the letter given to you. To protect the privacy
of students and parents, if you do not have the
access code, you must come into your child’s
school and present ID to get the code, or request
that the District mail the code to the address
listed on the student’s file
VIII. Once you have entered the student information, you will be directed back to the login page to enter your
new login and password:
