• PPP (also known as P3) is a common execution strategy employed with great success in the last 20+ years by several leading Government/ public entities. Each of these organizations have employed P3/PPP arrangements for Urban sports projects.
• Governments in the Caribbean are increasingly interested in using Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to develop critical infrastructure and improve service delivery. Caribbean governments are motivated by two main factors: (i) fiscal constraints; and (ii) growing appreciation of the efficiency gains to be made by engaging the private sector in delivering public services - Caribank
• “We are witnessing a shift in the way the next generation of sports facilities are being planning and designed …. Multi-use, multi-sport, multi-function – designed for flexibility in events, programming, and usage is key to the long-term success of these projects.” - Jason Clement, SFM CEO 2019
