A simplified version of "What's for Lunch?" by Eric Carle. Using various art techniques like marble-rolling and cotton-bud printing, pictures were created to depict events in the story. Audio and visual effects will thus maintain children's interest in the presentation.

Schnappi croc was sick of meat. So he went to find something better to eat.

He tried tree-leaves, tree-branches, twigs and flowers. BUT! They tasted yucky.

He walked and walked, until he reached a farm. There he saw a banner which said:

“Vegetable Party Tonight!” He decided to go for the party.

At the party, the chicken said “Why don’t you try some grain ?” It was nice, but it

wasn’t good enough.

The horse said “Why don’t you try some hay ?” It was nice, but it wasn’t good

enough.

The cow said “Why don’t you try some grass ?” It was nice, but it wasn’t good

enough.

The tortoise said “ Why don’t you try some cabbages? ” It was nice, but it wasn’t good

enough.
