As I landed in Ancient Greece I saw many wonders. After a long journey by ship I finally arrived at a land very different to my own with wondrous temples and cities. Let me describe my sketches to you and tell you the story of my discoveries...

Hi my name is Diego, and this past summer I was given the opportunity to visit the place were history was made. Dinosaurs fought cavemen for who was the dominant species and who had control over the land. Vikings set sail for America to find new homes. Bandits and pirates ruled the waters and had an unfair economic control over the city. All of this happened while the great Greek gods watched from the clouds. In my sketches you can see monuments that were built by the ancient Greek gods servants, buildings structured by stone and clay, statues of the gods’ faces made with the finest gold in the land. In the middle of the drawing you can see a giant wall that was stretched over 5 miles long. This one was created by the Vikings from the south who were in that time at war with the Vikings from the north and east. You could still see the cannon balls that were launched and got stuck in the wall during the great battles. On the bottom right you can see the great pyramids of Greece, people think that the Greeks stole the idea from the Egyptians, but the truth is that the Egyptians, when they first visited the land, they were fascinated and impressed by this gigantic creation they decided to make a few of their own but bigger so that people noticed them first. In the top of the sketch you can see the mountains of Zeus. These mountains were created in the spot for the protection of every village that lives in the land, they say that angry demons were coming to attack and destroy everything, so Zeus ordered that mountains full trees and flowers were to grow immediately so that the demons would get lost and eventually go back to where they came from. On the top left of the sketch you can see the Dimensions Lake. They say that on the bottom of the lake there’ s a portal that takes you to another dimension… the dimension of your dreams, a world were you are in command and everything that you imagine appears in an instant. And finishing the sketch, on the right side you can see Ancient Greeks canyon. In this canyon scientist have found the largest reserve of dinosaurs’ fossils, and different kind of dinosaurs too. It was an amazing experience to learn so much of the things that I never thought they were possible. Ancient Greece was a beautiful place to visit and to learn from and I would like very much to return to that place. But you know what they say, “ the greatest dreams never happen twice in a lifetime...”.
