    WHAT IS ELECTRONIC CREDIT

    CARD AUTHORIZATION? (eCCA)

    Electronic Credit Card Authorization is a secure process built for guests to submit the credit card information for paying for individual or group reservations to a property.

    Guest are able to access the online form via a secured website and submit credit card details for individual reservation.

    Meeting planners are able submit credit card information for event charges as well as guest reservations.

    E-Mail Notifications are generated for guest or Meeting Planners when:

    Request for submitting credit card information is generated.

    When Credit Card Authorization form is successfully submitted.

    Safe & PCI compliant

    channel for submitting credit card information

    Customized versions for:

    1. Individual

    2. Group

    Available in 2 languages:

    * English

    * French

    System generated email notifications

    Request access through ServiceNow

    Associates will need request access to

    Reservation Connection (ResCon) for

    Log into Bridge.

    Click on eTools and go to

    MyServiceDesk. Launch Service Desk.

    Click on Application & User Access.

    Click on Reservation Connection

    Fill all the required details.

    Select Yes for Will access to VIEW

    Completed eCredit Card Authorization

    Forms be required? .

    Click on Submit on the right hand

    bottom corner.

    Once we receive the form along with the

    required approval from your manager,

    access will be granted.

    1. Click on eTools. Search for Reservation Connection.

    2. On Reservation Connection page click on the Launch

    Reservation Connection to get into the app directly.

    * Tip: For quicker daily access, click on Follow on

    Reservation Connection header bar. ResCon can be

    access by clicking on Your Stuff- Your Groups & Spaces.

    It is strongly recommended to use Internet Explorer

    version 11 or higher to access ResCon.

    ELECTRONIC CREDIT CARD

    AUTHORIZATION PROCESS

    Associate creates a new invitation for a guest to submit credit card information

    The guest/ Meeting Planner receives an e-mail invitation.

    The guest/ Meeting Planner logs into a secure network per email instructions and submit the credit card information

    Associate get an email notification that credit card information was submitted by guest.

    Associate accesses the credit card details via ResCon and processes the payment.

    Guest/ Meeting Planner get an email confirming that credit card form was successfully received by the property.

  • The page displays list of past credit card requests generated

    within the past 7 days for the property you have access.

    1. After logging in ResCon, click on ECCA -> Invitation List in top navigation. The page displays list of invitations generated within the past 7 days for the property you have access. 2. A new invitation process can be started by clicking on Add New Invite. 3. View becomes available only when guest submits the credit card form successfully. 4. An invite can be deleted by clicking on the X. 5. The invitation email can be resent to the guest by clicking on the resend invite icon. This can only be done if the invite is within the submission window. If not then create a new invite.

  • CREATE NEW GROUP INVITATION-

    STEP 1

    1. After logging in ResCon, click on ECCA -> New Invitation in the top navigation.

    2. Select Group invite type from the dropdown.

    3. Select language type from English or French.

    4. Click on Next button to proceed to Step 2.

  • CREATE NEW GROUP INVITATION-

    STEP 2

    1. Fill out all the fields and submit the form.

    2. Click on here link under Invitee Email to customize the email being sent to Meeting Planner.

    3. The new invite will be displayed on the eCCA homepage.

    4. Note: Since Meeting Planner has not yet submitted the form online, view is not available for this invite.

  • CREATE NEW INDIVIDUAL INVITATION-

    STEP 1

    Same steps as group invite for starting the process.

    1. After logging in ResCon, click on ECCA -> New Invitation in the top navigation.

    2. On Step 1 select Individual invite type from the dropdown

    3. Select language type from English or French.

    4. Click on Next button to proceed to Step 2.

    Fill out all the fields and submit the form.

    The new invite will be displayed on the eCCA homepage.

  • VIEWING THE SUBMITTED FORM

    1. Go back to eCCA homepage and click on view. Note: Resend link will be disabled once form is received.

    2. All the details submitted by guest will be visible on Meeting Planner/ Event E-Credit Card Authorization Form page.

    Note: These details are available only for 7 days due to security reasons.
