Student Recruitment, Admissions and Scholarships Credit Transfer rules If you have gained entry into a program at UNSW, credit(s) may be awarded for courses (subjects) studied at another institution where the courses are deemed to be equivalent to UNSW courses and the courses are required for your degree. You may be granted credit from studies undertaken at more than one institution provided that the courses studied are recognised by UNSW as being equivalent. Credit Transfer search tool UNSW has developed a Credit Transfer search tool at http://credittransfer.unsw.edu.au where you can search for credits by Institution. You will not be required to submit course outlines with your credit transfer application if the course/s you are applying for appear in the Credit Transfer tool as being available for credit. If a course is not listed on the Credit Transfer website you can still apply for a credit assessment by adding it to your application and attaching detailed course outlines. The Credit Transfer tool is to be used as a guide only as course content may change or expire. The final approval for credit transfer resides with the Faculty/School offering the course.
