Community Give Back...for Children’s Hospital with 36 Hours for Kids with Slacker and Steve from KALC 105.9FM!

The call for nominations for the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and the Credit Com-mittee’s vacancies resulted in the exact number of candidates as there were openings. Therefore, the candidates are considered

elected by acclamation and no election by the membership will be necessary this year. We would like to thank each candidate for their commitment to serve in these important volunteer positions at the credit union.

ne special child’s story highlights why we volunteer; Maverick and his mom Marti are from Wyoming. He was born with serious heart and lung issues. During part of his ongoing hospital stays, he leaned over and told his mom he was going to die and then his heart stopped. He recovered but still has to visit the hos-pital on a regular basis. Children’s Hospital has pro-vided Maverick with portable devices so he’s not bed ridden. As a young boy with lots of energy, the one thing he really wanted was a bike of his own. Through a generous donation, he now has a new trike that will be custom fitted with a basket to hold his life saving equipment. Maverick was a treat to meet, his smiles and laughter were contagious. We wish Maverick and his family a continued blessed life!
