Find Your WingsMark Harris
It’s only for a moment you were mine to hold. The plans that heaven has for you will all too soon unfold. So many different prayers I’ll pray for all that you might do.But most of all I want to know that you’re walking in the truth. And if I never told youI want you to knowThat as I watch you grow…
I pray that God would fill your heart with dreamsAnd that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things.I’m here for you whatever this life bringsSo let my love give you rootsAnd help you find your wings
May passion be the wind that leads you through your daysAnd may conviction keep you strong and guide you on your wayMay there be many moments that make your life so sweet.Oh but more than memories….
I pray that God would fill your heart with dreamsAnd that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things.I’m here for you whatever this life bringsSo let my love give you rootsAnd help you find your wings
It’s not living if you don’t reach for the sky.I’ll have tears as you take off….But I’ll cheer as you fly….
I pray that God would fill your heart with dreamsAnd that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things.I’m here for you whatever this life bringsSo let my love give you roots
And help you find your wings.

Stand Beside MeHot House Flowers
He has been living through the pages of our timeKnown as a true manPure and sublimeComes from the earthAnd out of the skiesFrom the four corners of the compassAnd into our livesHe is followedHe who is trueTo what there is to be believed inTo the spirit of youComes from the dayAnd out of the nightIt's in all things naturalIt's in all things right
OhSometimes it's just not that easy
OhSometimes I got to call you, call you
Stand beside me GodStand beside meStand before meAnd behind meSo I can follow in love
And it all sails so smoothly with a prayer at each handWe all carry our stones, our good booksOn the Holy ground, we standTrue to the day, true to the nightIt's got to be natural, it's got to be right
OhSometimes it's still not that easy
NoSometimes I'm not the man I think I am
Feel I amHope I amKnow I amStand beside meStand beside meStand before meAnd behind meSo I can be true, so I can be true to my word
Stand beside meStand beside meStand before meStand beside me
Face Of ChristChris Rice
He shares a room outsideWith a dozen other guysAnd the only roof he knowsIs that sometimes starry skyA tattered sleeping bag on aConcrete slab is his bedAnd it's too cold to talk tonightSo I just sit with him instead and think
Chorus: How did I find myselfIn a better placeI can't look down on theFrown on the other guy's face'Cause when I stoop down lowLook him square in the eyeI get a funny feelingI just might be dealingWith the face of Christ
After sixteen years inA cold, gray prison yardSomehow his heart is softBut keeping simple faith is hardHe lays his Bible open onThe table next to meAnd as I heard his humble prayerI feel his longing to be free someday
Chorus
See you had no choiceWhich day you would be bornOr the color of your skinOr what planet you'd be onWould your mind be strongWould your eyes be blue or brownWhether daddy would be richOr if momma stuck around at all
So if you find yourselfIn a better placeYou can't look downOn the frownOn the other guy's faceYou gotta stoop down lowLook him square in the eyeAnd get a funny feeling'cause you might be dealing
Chorus
You Are The SunSara Groves
You are the sun shining down on everyoneLight of the world giving light to everything I seeBeauty so brilliant I can hardly take it inAnd everywhere you are is warmth and light
And I am the moon with no light of my ownStill You have made me to shineAnd as I glow in this cold dark nightI know I can’t be a light unless I turn my face to You
You are the sun shining down on everyoneLight of the world giving light to everything I seeBeauty so brilliant I can hardly take it inAnd everywhere you are is warmth and light
And I am the moon with no light of my ownStill You have made me to shineAnd as I glow in this cold dark nightI know I can’t be a light unless I turn my face to You
Shine on me with your lightWithout You I’m a cold dark stoneShine on me, I have no light of my ownYou are the sun, You are the sun, You are the sunAnd I am the moon
You have made me to shineAnd as I glow in this cold dark nightI know I can’t be a light unless I turn my face to YouNo I’ll never be a light until I turn my face to YouNo I will never be a light until I turn my face to YouNo I will never be a light until I turn myself to You
Own MeGinny Owens
Got a stack of books,So I could learn how to live; Many are left half-read,Covered by the cobwebs on my shelf. And I got a list of laws,Growing longer everyday; If I keep pluggin' away,
Maybe one day I'll perfect myself.Oh, but all of my labor,Seems to be in vain; And all of my laws,Just cause me more pain;So I fall before You,In all of my shame;Ready and willing to be changed-
Chorus: Own meTake all that I am,And heal meWith the blood of the Lamb.Mold meWith Your gracious hand;Break me till I'm only Yours-Own me
Oh, you call me Daughter,And you take my blame; And you run to meet me,When I cry out Your name,So I fall before You,In all of my shame.Lord, I am willing to be changed

Chorus: There are times in life when you gotta crawl,Lose your grip, trip and fallWhen you can't lean on no-one else:That's when you find yourself
I've been around and I've noticed thatWalkin's easier when the road is flatThem danged ol' hills'll get you every time
Yeah, the good Lord gave us mountains,So we could learn how to climb

Out Of ControlMindy Smith
The blood is dry and the wounds I hideThe scars are settling inSo I keep the light lowAnd they still showI sit and count every stitch
Chorus: And what it meansWhat it really meansIt’s time I let everything go that’sKilling me, and turning meSpinning me so out of controlI don’t want to let go.I don’t want to let go.
I don’t know what forBut these open doorsKeep slamming in on meAnd if life’s a joke, then it’s getting oldI hope God’s looking out for me
Chorus
The blood is dry and the wounds I hideThe scars are settling in
“This song is very true to the fact that I don’t always cope so well with life. I often feel like I’m in the funnelcloud of a tornado, clutching at whatever I can but realizing that I’m only holding onto something that’sspinning around and around. So what do you do? You let go. But where are you going to land? It’s a pridefulissue: I’m going, ‘I can do this! Let me do this!’ And then I screw it up and God goes, ‘See? You should havelet me help.’ That’s what this is about – a spiritual battle.” – Mindy Smith
Too MuchLeeland
All these places I have beenAll these faces I have seenToo much, too muchAll these bricks and all these stonesHave all been cast they’ve all been thrownToo hard, too hard
Find me in the background looking downYou’ll never see my faceI’m looking down
I need a place a sanctuaryA refuge for my ordinaryFinally familiar peaceful homeUntroubled safe from all this madnessRefuge for my hope and sadnessPossible to find myself aloneAt home
All these cliffs and all these heightsThey’ve just been too high to climbToo high, too highAll these waves and all these seasHave all been crashing down on meToo much, too much
I’ve found my home againI finally find myself in YouI finally find myself in YouI feel safe againYou’re the One I’m running toYou’re the One I’m running to
Lay Me DownDavid Crosby & Graham Nash
Driving out through the windmillsand some of them were stillSometimes it's hard to catch the windand bend it to your will
Even though it's hard to knowjust how the story endsThe road is long and takes its timeon that you can depend
Lay me down in the riverand wash this place awayBreak me down like sand from a stonemaybe I'll be whole again one day
Lay me down, lay me downMaybe I'll be whole againLay me down, lay me downMaybe I'll be whole again
Somewhere between heaven and hella soul knows where it's beenI want to feel my spirit lifted upand catch my breath again
Lay me down in the riverand wash this place awayBreak me down like sand from a stoneMaybe I'll be whole again one day
Lay me down, lay me downMaybe I'll be whole againLay me down, lay me downMaybe I'll be whole againLay me down, lay me downMaybe I'll be whole again one day
Stubborn (Psalm 151)Lee Ann Womack
There's a whole lot of stubborn in this roomThere's a whole lot of pride that won't let goThere's a whole lot of stubborn in this roomThat shows no sign of giving up control
I've drawn all the curtainsI've turned out all the lightsScared to death somebody else might seeThere's a whole lot of stubborn in this room
And there's no one here but me
There's a whole lot of demons in this roomThey want it all, and they don't wanna shareThere's a whole lot of demons in this room
And none of them believe in fighting fair
Some sit on my leftSome sit on my rightThey talk so loud it's hard to disagreeI'm surrounded by the demons in this roomAnd there's no one here but me
And I can't quite remember how to pray anymoreI can't quite remember what to say anymoreIf it turns out that I can't have my way anymoreHow will I know which way to turn, when I walk out the door?
There's a molecule of faith in this roomWhat they used to call the mustard seedThere's a molecule of faith in this roomAnd a book that says that's all I'll ever need
I don't know where it is, but I hope I find it soonCause nothing else will ever set me freeThere's a molecule of faith in this roomAnd even though it's much too small to see,If I have the courage to believeI'll find the One who left it here for me
“Stubborn (Psalm 151)”(Don Schlitz, Brett James)
‘Stubborn’ is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my life. When I heard the demo, I couldn’t believe it. Itbrought me to my knees. I got about halfway through the song and literally, tears were streaming down myface. It’s funny because I came home one time, nobody was home, but there was this CD lying on thekitchen counter that had ‘Psalm 151’ written on it. I thought, ‘If someone wrote a song and entitled it ‘Psalm151,’ that must be an important Psalm, but for the life of me I couldn’t remember that one.’ So I went and gotmy Bible, and found there was no Psalm 151. I was eager to hear the song so I put the CD in and wascrying by the middle of the song. When Frank came home I met him at the door and asked him what it was. After listening to it he said, ‘That might be one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.’

One day eyes that are blind will see you clearlyAnd one day all who deny will finally believeOne day hearts made of stone will break in piecesAnd one day chains once unbroken will fall down at your feetSo we wait for that one day come quickly
Chorus : We want to see your GloryEvery knee falls down before theeEvery tongue offers you praiseWith every hand raisedSinging GloryTo you and unto you onlyWe'll sing Glory to Your name
One day voices that lie will all be silentOne day all that's divided will be whole againOne day death will retreat and wave it's white flagOne day love will defeat the strongest enemySo we wait for that one day come quickly

Sinner’s PrayerRay Charles & BB King
Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.Well if I've done somebody wrong, Lord, have mercy if you please.
I used to have plenty of money, the finest clothes in town,But bad luck and trouble overtaken me, bound to get me down. Please have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.Well if I've done somebody wrong, Lord, have mercy if you please.
Keep on working now, child.Lord every morning.
Well if I've been a bad boy, baby, I declare I'll change my ways.I don't want bad luck and trouble to follow me all my days. Please have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.Well if I've done somebody wrong, Lord, have mercy if you please.
A King & A KingdomDerek Webb
Who's your brother, who's your sisterYou just walked passed himI think you missed herAs we're all migrating to the place where our father lives' cause we married in to a family of immigrants
Chorus: So my first allegiance is not to a flag, a country, or a manMy first allegiance is not to democracy or bloodIt's to a King & a Kingdom
There are two great lies that I’ve heard:“The day you eat of the fruit of that tree, you will not surely die”And that Jesus Christ was a white, middle-class republicanand if you wanna be saved you have to learn to be like Him
Chorus
But nothing unifies like a common enemyAnd we’ve got one, sure as hellBut he may be living in your houseHe may be raising up your kidsHe may be sleeping with your wifeOh no, he may not look like you think
I’m Not The Only One AskingMindy Smith
Bird on the telephone wireCome down and sing to meHave you heard from my Father?Have you any news to bring?
I know I’m not the only one askingAmong wandering souls down hereCan you shout it from the highest peakOr at least whisper it in my ear
Knocked on the door of my neighborTo ask him if had receivedThe holy key to heavenMy Father promised me?
I’m no the only one waitingAmong wandering souls down hereSo brother, if you know the answer,Please whisper it in my ear.
I’m reaching for heavenDown on my kneesDown on my kneesI’m finally getting nearer to heaven,And nearer to thee
I know I’m not the only one askingAmong wandering souls down hereCan you shout it from the highest peakOr at least whisper it in my ear?
I’m Not the Only One Asking (Mindy Smith/Fred Wilhelm)
“Fred and I wrote this before I made my first record. I love gospel music, and I was inspired to findthat very spiritual/roots place. This might be way these lyrics come from a parable mentality: Youknow that bird isn’t going to come down from that telephone wire and talk to you. Most peopleknow there aren’t really keys to Heaven. It’s just a metaphor for wanting somebody to come andgive you some absolutes, to help your life make sense. But nothing really is absolute … not untilyou die.”
800 Pound JesusSawyer Brown
I saw a garage salePulled up in the yardFound a statue of JesusIt was eight feet tallHe held out his armsAnd he seemed all aloneSo I loaded him upAnd drove him home
Out by my driveway heLooks down the streetWith his long hair and sandals madeOf rebar and concreteI painted him white with a long purple robeHe's a rock of ages on our gravel road
Chorus: He's an eight-hundred pound JesusStanding taller than a treeHe's an eight-hundred pound JesusA bigger man than you or me
I thought losing' my job wasThe end of the worldTill my best pal ran off with my best girlI felt suicidal with no real friendsSo I walked outside with a rope in my hand
Out by that statue there's a big old treeSo I stood on his shouldersAnd I counted to threeI had every intention of buying the farmBut when I jumped off he caught me in his arms
Chorus
I wanted to return the favor to himCause I never had a more solid friendSo I planted some flowersAll around his feetAnd I bought him a flockOf ceramic sheep
Chorus
He's a bigger manThan you or me
HeyLeeland
I’d give myself to find YouStumble and fall to see YouYou’re worth it allTo me You are
I’d swim across the stormy seasAnd scream it from the mountain peaksYou’re worth it allTo me You are
Chorus: (And I said)Hey You’re the OneThat I’ve been looking forAnd I found You hereAnd I found You here
Hey You’re the OneThat I’ve been looking forAnd I found You hereAnd I found You here
Thinking back on all the timesI passed You by with blinded eyesI thought that IWould be just fine
Tripping over all my liesI saw You there with no disguiseYou’re worth it allTo me You are
Chorus
Do you see my celebrationFor this open invitation to Your arms, Your armsIt’s a beautiful fixationAs I find myself surrounded by Your love, Your love
Chorus
“This track breaks from the intensity of the record,” Jack Mooring says of the song that was in the running fora Subaru car commercial. “And it’s our opportunity to be like The Beatles.” Leeland Mooring agrees, adding,“‘Hey’ is just happy and easy to sing along with.”
Yes You HaveLeeland
Every tree and every stoneEvery rushing wind that moansThey sing Your praiseMy God, they sing Your praiseEvery star and open skyTell of Your glory divineThey shout Your praiseThey shout Your praise, yeah
You’ve stolen my heartYes, You have! You’ve stolen my heartYes, You have! You’ve wiped away the stainsAnd broke away the chainsYes, You have!!
With Your love You set me freeThree nails gave me libertySo I’ll sing Your praiseMy God, I’ll sing Your praise
Oh, with Your loveYou forgave my sinForgot my pastAnd brought me back againSo I’ll sing Your praiseI’ll sing Your praise, yeah
If I ascend into the skyOr hide behind the nightI can not run Your love is chasing meIf I fall into the seaYour hand will rescue meNo one will take Your placeBecause
This is all for YouYes, this is all for YouYou’re the King of the worldYou’re the King of the world
“You can’t run from God,” Jack Mooring says. “Psalm 139 says, ‘O Lord, you have searched me and knownme… Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?’ Instead, God captures ourhearts. Even if we try to run away from his love, it’s still going to find us. That’s how we feel as a band. Wefeel God has taken over our hearts, and this song celebrates that.”
Galilee RoadMarcus Hummon
Old black preacher in the pulpitCity of angels burning ‘roundAnd he says, “I will still preach the good newsafter this old Baptist church burns down”
‘Cause you don’t know when the hour comesand the Lord calls you home.Don’t you know we’re all walkin’Down the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee roadkeep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
A young man lies in the crossroadsIn a pool of his own bloodThe angry city fell upon himIt all came down like a flood
She lifts his head as he lies dyingShe whispers a prayer as his soul goesAbove the city of angelsAnd a ways on down the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee roadkeep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
Lord I am not an angelGot feet of clay and a heart of stoneBut I will build a new citySomewhere along the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee roadkeep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee roadkeep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road

Prayer of St. FrancisSarah McLachlan
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,Where there is hatred, let me sow love;where there is injury, pardon;where there is doubt, faith;where there is despair, hope;where there is darkness, light;where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;to be understood as to understand;to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

How To Say GoodbyeMichael W Smith
Tell me when the time we had slipped awayTomorrow turned to yesterdayAnd I don't know howTell me what can stop this river of tearsIt's been building up for yearsFor this moment now
Here I standArms open wideI've held ya closeKept ya safeTill you could fly
Tell me where the road ahead is gonna bendAnd how to harness up the windAnd how to say goodbye
Tell me whyWhy does following your dreamsTake you far away from meAnd I knew that it would
Tell me how to feel the space you left behindAnd how to laugh instead of cryAnd how to say goodbye
Here I standArms open wideI've held ya closeKept ya safeTill you could fly
Tell me where the road ahead is gonna bendAnd how to harness up the windAnd how to say Goodbye
Two TeardropsSteve Wariner
Two teardrops were floatin' down the riverOne teardrop said to the otherI'm from the soft blue eyes of a woman in loveI'm a tear of joy she couldn't carryShe was so happy she just got marriedI was on her cheek when she wiped me away with her gloveI could tell from the look on her face she didn't need meSo I drifted on down and caught me a ride to the sea
The other tear said we've got a connectionI'm a tear of sorrow born of rejectionI'm from the sad brown eyes of her old flameShe told him they would be lifelong companionsLeft him with questions and not any answersI was on his cheek as he stood there calling her nameI could tell he had a lot of my friends for companySo I drifted on down and caught me a ride to the sea
Oh the ocean's a little bit bigger tonightTwo more teardrops somebody criedOne of them happy and one of them bluer than blueThe tide goes out and the tide comes inAnd someday they'll be teardrops againReleased in a moment of pleasure or a moment of painThen they drift on down and ride to the sea again
Last night I sat in the waiting roomThe nurse walked in and gave me the newsIt's a baby girl and they're both fineAn old man sittin' not 10 feet awayJust lost his wife and he said to meYou've got a brand new angel and I've lost mineI guess the good Lord giveth and the good Lord taketh awayAnd we both wiped a teardrop from our face
Oh the ocean's a little bit bigger tonightTwo more teardrops somebody criedOne of them happy and one of them bluer than blueThe tide goes out and the tide comes inA whole new circle of life beginsWhere tears are a part of the pleasure and part of the pain'Til they drift on down and ride to the sea again
Two teardrops floatin' down the riverTwo teardrops floatin' down the river
Holes In The Floor HeavenSteve Wariner
One day shy of eight years oldMy Grandma passed awayI was a broken hearted little boy,Blowing out that birthday cake
How I cried when the sky let gowith a cold and lonesome rainMomma smiled said don't be sad childGrandma's watchin’ you today
'Cause there's holes in the floor of Heavenand her tears are pourin' downthat's how you know she's watchin'wishin' she could be here nowAnd sometimes if you're lonelyjust remember she can seethere's holes in the floor of Heavenand she's watchin' over you and me
Seasons come and seasons gonothin' stays the sameI grew up fell in lovemet a girl who took my name
Year by year we made a lifein this sleepy little townI thought we'd grow old togetherLord I sure do miss her now
But there's holes in the floor of Heavenand her tears are pourin' down
that's how you know she's watchin'wishin' she could be here nowand sometimes when I'm lonelyI remember she can seethere's holes in the floor of Heavenand she's watchin' over you and me
Well my little girl is 23I walk her down the aisleit's a shame her mom can't be here nowto see her lovely smile
They throw the riceI catch her eyeas the rain starts comin' downshe takes my hand says daddy don't be sad'cause I know momma's watchin' now
And there's holes in the floor of Heavenand her tears are pourin downthat's how you know she's watchin'wishin' she could be here nowand sometimes when I'm lonelyI remember she can seethere's holes in the floor of Heavenand she's watchin' over you and me
Watchin' over you and meWatchin' over you and meWatchin' over you and me

(John 12:24)
This is not the end here at this graveThis is just a hole that someone madeEvery hole was made to fillAnd every heart can feel it still--Our nature hates a vacuum
This is not the hardest part of allThis is just the seed that has to fallAll our lives we till the groundUntil we lay our sorrows downAnd watch the sky for rain
There is moreMore than all this painMore than all the falling downAnd the getting up againThere is moreMore than we can seeFrom our tiny vantage pointIn this vast eternityThere is more
A thing resounds when it rings trueRinging all the bells inside of youLike a golden sky on a summer eveYour heart is tugging at your sleeveAnd you cannot say whyThere must be more
There is moreMore than we can standStanding in the gloryOf a love that never endsThere is moreMore than we can guessMore and more, forever moreAnd not a second less
There is more than what the naked eye can seeClothing all our days with mysteryWatching over everythingWilder than our wildest dreamsCould ever dream to beThere is more
