Tess initially came from a background in public relations and has been working in the ‘special risks’ consulting field for nearly 20 years, formerly within the Crisis Management division of one of the world’s largest risk management services providers, before joining NYA in 2011. She also spent a number of years at a major medical and security assistance provider, where she headed up the Oil & Gas Services team in London.

In her capacity as Director of Security & Crisis Consulting, Tess advises corporations globally on crisis management capability development, crisis communications, security risk management, travel management, and other related services. Tess holds a BA (Hons) in German and English from Leeds University and is an ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
