Creating a community of transformation...

...bound together by a call to build, strengthen, and multiply the Church worldwide.

Welcometo CRM

We’re from many nations, many

tongues, many cultures. But we have

one purpose: to empower leaders

for the Church as it seeks to bring the

transformational power of the Gospel

to the world.

We envision movements of fresh,

authentic, Christ-centered communities,

pioneered by godly leaders, fired by a

passion for their world, compelled to

multiply their lives and ministry…so

that the name of God is renowned

among the nations.

CRM was born in 1980 out of a need to see leaders equipped and empowered for the Church.

Since its beginning over 25 years ago, CRM has grown into a global community of individuals and teams, committed to seeing the good news of Jesus transform the nations.

Today, we serve in over 25 countries—in urban, suburban, and rural settings—around the globe.

Our staff seek to live out our primary values of character, relationship, mission, and spiritual passion in a wide variety of neighborhoods and ministry contexts.

MASSACHUSETTS, USA: Christ Community Church is a prime example of a church that recovered from crisis and focused their leaders on advancing the Kingdom of God.In a time of severe pain for the church, Christ Community invited CRM's reTURN team to step in and facilitate a period of healing and restoration. As a result, the church body has begun to experience who God has called them to be. A thriving community, CCC is just one of many churches that CRM staff have worked with to bring restoration and purpose, finally turning the church's focus from maintenance to mission.

Our heart is for the Church that IS as well as the Church that CAN BE. Our

mission is to develop the leaders who are committed to both.

What We DoWe develop leaders in a variety of contexts, such as:

* National leaders in Venezuela * New church expressions among post-moderns in Scotland * Homeless teenagers on the streets of San Francisco * Local pastors in Singapore

This work unites 400 staff in 25 countries

and counting.

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA: Cambodia, an ancie

nt country with a

difficult history, is home to 13 million peop

le. And only 400

licensed dentists. Frank Cho, a Korean den

tist trained at

USC, is spending his retirement a long wa

y from the golf

course. He's working among the poor in Phn

om Penh.

Empowered by CRM's Enterprise International, Frank runs

a dental clinic, trains dental students, and

leads dental

and medical outreaches to remote villages. A

nd, as if that

weren't enough, he plans to open a for-prof

it clinic that will

fund affordable dental care for the poor a

s well as provide

training opportunities for aspiring Cambodia

n leaders.

.Although Frank and hi

s wife Tina had planned to be in

Cambodia for just two years, Frank says w

ith a smile on his

face, "God is keeping us here a bit longer

. I am physically

tired, but spiritually, I am so happy."

Central to our mission is the transformational power of relationships -- with those we serve, with those who empower us, with each other, and with God.

What It Looks LikeWhile the appearance of what we do can vary significantly based on context and culture, the following core functions are common to many of our teams:

* Business for Mission* Coaching & Mentoring* Church Planting & Health* Missional Communities* Social Justice* Spiritual Formation* Urban Ministry PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA: Luc lives in a township in South Africa. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, he first came to South Africa planning only to stay for a short while. But when war came to his home country, he found himself searching for a place to belong and trying to understand God's call on his life. During this time, staff from CRM's NieuCommunities came alongside Luc to help him understand who God had made him to be. Luc realized that God had called him to a life of purpose in the township, so he joined CRM's InnerCHANGE team.

Luc and his family have since moved into the township, living out in word, deed, and power the presence of Jesus.

SAN FRANCISCO, USA: After escaping war-torn El

Salvador

in the 1990's, Omar came to San Francisco

in the hopes of

starting a new life.

As soon as he arrived, he was ushered int

o a culture of

gangs and violence. Emergency rooms and d

etention centers

became the norm. "My life was going down

really fast,"

he says. "I thought I was going to die becau

se I went to

so many funerals for my friends. I saw so

many mothers

crying at those funerals."

But a funeral for a friend turned out to

be the place

where God intervened. Omar was introduced

to some members

of InnerCHANGE—CRM's order among the poor—and his life

began to change. These days, Omar is marr

ied with three

children and has a degree in engineering. H

e continues

working with local troubled youth in his MIss

ion District

neighborhood. "I owe it to this community. I

have to give back

everything that God gave me."

“It happens through relationship. It happens

in community.”

This movement of 10,000 includes those who serve vocationally with CRM, our financial and ministry partners, and

our friends around the world.

This is an opportunity.

You’ve met some of the people. Read their stories. Gotten a glimpse of their lives and communities. These are just a handful of the hundreds who live and serve with CRM around the world.

They are all a part of communities that transform and are transformed themselves. In the midst of poverty, in the midst of moral crisis, in the midst of violence, in the midst of secularization and post-modernity, these lives—these communities—are a living testimony to the growing presence of the Kingdom of God.

As stewards of the Christian movement in our generation, we have a choice. And the choice we make has great eternal and historical significance. The choice is either to withdraw or engage.

We who are a part of CRM are committed to making a difference. We’ve chosen to engage.

Will you join us?

This is CRM.A community of transformation.

What Can You Do?

CRM is funded by the gifts of individuals,

foundations, and churches. All of those

serving with CRM raise personal support

and depend on the financial partnership of

committed friends and churches.
