This is a crochet pattern for embellished pebbles. The size of your stones, yarn and crochet hook is completely variable, just measure at the end if your work fits around your stone and if it doesnt simply add a row to the pattern. Have fun with it! Granny square: Rnd 1: start with a magic loop, ch3, 2dc in ring, *ch3, 3 dc in ring* repeat 3 times, ch3 join Rnd 2: sl st to space, ch3, 2 dc in sp, ch3 3 dc in same sp, ch2, 3dc in next sp, ch 3, 3dc in same sp, ch2, 3dc in next sp, ch 3, 3dc in same sp, ch2, 3dc in next sp, ch 3, 3dc in same sp, ch2 join. Rnd 3: sl st to space, ch3, 2 dc in sp, ch3 3 dc in same sp, ch2, *3dc in ch2 sp, ch2, 3dc in next sp, ch 3, 3dc in same sp, ch2* repeat 2 times end with 3dc in ch2 sp, ch2, join. Now cut off your yarn, with a yarn needle pull the yarn through all the stitches around your square. Lay your stone one the square and pull the yarn tight till it fits around your stone, now cut of the yarn and weave in ends. Big eye: Rnd 1: Ch 12, join with sl st to form a ring. Rnd 2: ch 3, 23 dc in ring, join to 3 rd ch. Rnd 3: ch4, *dc, ch1* in every dc of previous round. Rnd 4: ch5, *dc, ch2* in every dc of previous round. Now attach around your stone in the same way as described for the granny square. Star: Rnd 1: ch6, join with sl st to form a ring. Rnd 2: ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join to first ch. Rnd 3: *Ch5, sk1, sc in next,* repeat around, join. Rnd 4: sl to 3 rd ch of first ch5 sp of previous rnd, sc, *ch5, sc in 3 rd ch of next ch5 sp* repeat till end, join. Rnd 5: *Ch 8, sc in sc of previous rnd* repeat till end, join. Now attach around your stone in the same way as described for the granny square. Lace: Rnd 1: ch14, turn Rnd 2: sc in 4 th ch from hook, *ch3, sk 1, sc in next* repeat, turn Rnd 3: *ch 4, sc in centre of sp* till end Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in every sc and every sp. Rnd 5: *ch4, sk 1, sc in next* repeat, turn Rnd 6: *ch4, sk 1, sc in next* repeat, turn Now attach around your stone in the same way as described for the granny square. Flower: Rnd 1: magic loop, sc 5 in loop, join. Rnd 2: ch2, 2dc in first sc, ch2 sl st to next sc * ch2, 2dc in same sc, ch2 sl st to next sc* repeat till end, join. Rnd 3: sl st to top of first leaf, ch3, 2dc in top of same leaf, *ch5, 3dc in top of next leaf* repeat till end, ch 5 join in 3 rd ch from start ch.
