Within the framework of the working meetings and visits in the two towns, the places for locating the three stations - components of the cross border network for monitoring the air quality - were established on site. Activity 43: On 30 and 31 October 2013 ICMET Craiova participated in the sessions for informing the citizens, NGOs and press, organized by the National Environmental Guard, Romania (P3). At this information session, Mr. Adrian Vintilă presented the work: Actions implemented by ICMET Craiova within the project MIS ETC - 166. All the technical papers that have been prepared in the above mentioned period have been drafted up and written in the approved formats, complying with the requirements of the Visual Identity Manual. This year, in May, ICMET Craiova will organize the workshop: „Monitoring Air Quality Network in the Danube Border Area”. At this event, besides partners, representatives of the national, local authorities, NGOs and population from the eligible area will be also invited. The monitoring and measuring equipment for air pollution, needed for setting up three stations (first part of the delivery), was received. The program for commissioning the three stations and their related equipment that will be installed in Teleorman county was achieved. On 16.01.2014 ICMET Craiova participated in a working meeting at the headquarter of AEP Teleorman. In this meeting, representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Environment and Climatic Changes, representatives of AEP Teleorman and representatives of the mayoralties from Turnu Măgurele and Zimnicea participated.
