• Name 3 situations that brought significant changes in your life. After them you never felt the same and you realized that you are on the road with no return.

• Life changes are inevitable, but you have to know WHY you are doing all this: fundraising, education, job, dating.

The priority list and one burning question

If you can imagine it, you can achieve it.

• If you want to increase your financial status, you have to do things that the majority of people fails to do. Educate yourself about finance, passive income, productivity, time management via (audio) books, newspapers, lectures, videos. And… action!

Page 10: Crowdfunding - The Perspective of One Young World Ambassadors

• When it comes to crowd funding, write down your plan and stick to it. Use actionplanr.com and crowdfundinginaction.com

Follow these steps:

1. Start with a compelling story, slogan and video. 2. Define who are people who can help you. 3. Decide on your perks and payment structure(s). 4. Before you launch your campaign live, make sure

t that you have 1/3 of amount secured/promised.

And… action!

5. Use social media consistently and update your content regularly. Merge online and offline activities.

Page 11: Crowdfunding - The Perspective of One Young World Ambassadors

• Divide your goal into smaller chunks and more realistic deliverables. If you have 4 weeks for crowd funding, then

you have to identify the goal for every week before you start; how many emails and letters you will write, and how many events/meetings you will organize.

• It’s important that your campaign gets momentum at the beginning as people like to get involved in the success stories. Time saves no-one. It is like Kronos to his children.

Do you have the time or not?

Page 12: Crowdfunding - The Perspective of One Young World Ambassadors

• The same principle goes for money.• You may feel that something/somebody constantly ‘‘eats up’’ your money or you try to optimize your resources: cook your own food; sell or give things you do not use; buy second-hand clothes; quit taxi driving.

Do you have other resources?

Calculate how many donations from individuals you will need and think how to make this paying easy and even enjoyable for them. Provide perks for people giving you money.

What about dream team and handy tools?

• No man is an island so your campaign should promote certain team lifestyle. Be careful with Prometheus attitude. You can involve: 1) corporate partners (‘‘chase them’’, improve personal contacts with them; a couple of them may help you with at least half of the amount); 2) friends, family, acquaintances who support your cause and will engage their friends to react the same;

3) friends’ friends, activists and bloggers in the community who saw your call for action.
