The correct open gear lubrication is a constant attention focus for mainte-nance staff.

To keep a thin lubricating film, stable and stuck is one of the main objectives of lubricating greases when lubricating open gears. The idea consists in lubri-cating two surfaces, normally these are metal ones, and in very close contact, they generate strong contact loads. By applying the lubricating grease we will prevent from a quick wear of the teeth of the crown and pinion.

A correct lubrication will increase fatigue resistance, will minimize noises and vibrations and will prevent early cracks. Pitting and micropitting problems of the metal surfaces will also be prevented.

Brugarolas develops a wide range of lubricant greases in order to put an end to the great number of lubrication problems shown in crown-pinion mech-anisms of all kinds and sizes available in the market.
