ScreensOur expansive line of solar screen fabrics range from 1% opennessto 14% from the largest industry designer screen weavers. Theyoffer dimensional stability and thermal & UV protection.

We also offer sustainable PVC-free green fabrics that are 100%recyclable. These weaves are generated from core yarn that is bornout of post-industrial waste by-product, which lends itself to repeatrecyclability for continued sustainability.

based 12 & 14 oz. fiberglass by the Indiana Coated company, as well aseverything in between, no designer should ever have to compromise when

choosing the right fabric.

Fabric Roll TypeThe industry default is "regular roll" however the "reverse roll"option can be specified for a number of reasons; usually to hidethe roller or project the fabric from the window if there are anyobtrusions such as handles.

Railroading FabricTypically, a standard shade's width is cutout of the width of the raw goods roll. However, it is possible and sometimes necessary to "railroad" the fabric to achieve wider width shades (than the raw goods roll width). If the fabric has a noticeable pattern, it will be obvious that the direction has changed.

Fabric FaceCertain fabrics will have a different color hue, tintor pattern on the front side verses the back. Youcan choose to orient the fabric so that the inside face is positioned on the back. This is termed "Face Out".

Fabric Orientations

Crown owns 2 oversized automatic fabric cutting lines. They incorporate both rotaryknife and ultrasonic cutting technologies and can quickly adapt to the many differentfabrics we offer. Large light boxes are integrated into the tables to provide an initialinspection for flawed fabric. Fully automatic edge stops help us cut perfectly squarefabric panels to minimize telescoping which will later be treated during the finalinspection process.

Rollease ClutchesA clutch lift system is the industry standard for raising and lowering roller shades. Our clutches aremanufactured to tolerances within 2/1000 of an inch and never need adjusting. Components other than the spring are made of glass reinforced thermopolymer to ensure years of trouble free performance and prevent oxidation of external materials. Clutches are available in vanilla or black.

Spring Assisted Clutch OfferingFor oversized shades that may otherwise require motorization, we offer a spring assisted R24 clutch that has a built in pull force of 6 lbs though can lift 30 lbs.

OperationThe pulley core has a cam which is positioned below the spring tangs. When the pulley is moved in either direction (by pulling on the bead chain) it pushes against the spring tang opening the springs diameter andallowing free shade movement.

Release the bead chain and the spring automatically returns to its original, closed shape, locking the shadein position.

The shade tube housing has a cam positioned so that the force of the hanging shade pushes on the side ofthe spring tang locking it tighter to the inner core. The weight of the shade helps keep the shade locked.

Fabric Inserted Cassette Valance We offer small and large cassette valances which come shipped as one complete assembly. This not only provides a

sleek appearance but also installs easier. Two profile sizes are available depending uponthe size and operating system of the shade. We insert your chosen shade fabric into the

valance for a seamless look.

Applications: Residential windows where a designer wants to achieve a softer lookthan a painted aluminum fascia panel could provide.

Vertical Duo-Shade SystemWhen depth is a factor, our vertical Duo-Shade systemuses brackets that are inline and offset. The upper-mostshade is intended to be reverse roll (fabric falls off the frontof the roller) while the lower-most shade can be either regularor reverse roll. We offer a 7" vertical fascia panel that willconceal both roller shades.

Horizontal Duo-Shade SystemWhen overhead height is a factor our horizontal Duo-Shadesystem uses brackets that are inline horizontally. Either shadecan be specified as regular or reverse roll. We can mount theseshades in a 3" or 4" fascia.
