EVENT SPACE

Ask the cruise if they have specific event space for groups or if they are willing to block venues for your private functions. Take note of furnishings. Always ask if the cruise has extra tables and chairs to make the space adaptable.

• What décor and lighting is included?

• What audio visual capabilities are available?

• What type of seating and table sizes are available?

DINING

Know and understand what outlets accept reservations. Will the cruise make exceptions for your group? If some restaurants are only o�ered on specific nights, consider negotiating this into your contract.

ALCOHOL

Always keep your attendees’ beverage choices in mind when learning about alcohol o�erings.

WEATHER

Most cruise lines will help prepare you for rain by providing umbrellas. Always ask what the hotel o�ers guests and ensure you understand their policy for weather that a�ects the cruise.

• What will happen if weather delays arrival at a port and excursions cannot operate?

SECURITY

Look for security’s presence as you board the ship. It is important to be comfortable with the level of security and ask questions.
