Happy Holidays from Cub Scout Pack 127
Cub Scout Fundraising Ex-
ceeds Expectation$. The lead-
ers of Pack 127 was very sur-
prised at the end result of the
bake sale fundraiser held on
November 22nd. Baked
goods such as cookies, brown-
ies, cupcakes, slices of home
baked bread, and fudge ,plus a
lot more were donated by
scout leaders to help raise
money for the Fort Knox
Scouting program. The
Scouts and leaders had set up
a table at the South entrance
to Wal-Mart with all of the
baked good laid out for dis-
play, and handed out to store
patron for donations. The
scouts assisted by each den
arriving at different times and
holding up signs directing
people to the scout table.
At the end of the day the
scouts had raised over $700
dollars and as a bonus they
recruited two new scouts to
join pack 127. The money
donated was used to purchase
scout awards and supplies that
have already been given out to
the scouts and being used in
den meetings. Future fundrais-
ers at Wal-Mart are in the
works but not until after the
new year. People we would
like to thank for donating
baked good for the fun raiser
are as follows:
The Monbeck Family, The
Brown Family, The Bender
Family, The Bergman, The
Leason family, The Fugate
family, The Shealey family,

The MCcord family, The
Wheeler family, The Rabold
family, The Flores family, The
Rodriguez Family, The Rigsby

all who assisted in sign mak-
ing and transportation of the
goods and materials.
December 4th 2009, Radcliff
Kentucky: On a very cold
evening, the Cub Scouts of
Pack 127 and family members
from Fort Knox participated
in the Radcliff Holiday Festi-
val Parade. The Scouts assem-
bled and got into their 48th
position in line for the parade
that began at 7pm. All of the
scouts wore elf hats and their
brothers and sisters who also
participated in the one mile
march, wore little reindeer ant-
lers. At the conclusion of the
parade food and drink was avail-
able such as apple cider, hot
chocolate, sodas, hotdogs and
nachos. After the traditional
tree lighting took place, the
people who braved the cold
weather witnessed an impressive
fireworks display. After the fes-
tivities came to an end, the
Scouts and family members had
their pictures taken in front of
the large Christmas tree.
