The program is initiated with the objective of advocacy of the
Profession of Project Management across industry sectors in India.

How We Started
• Idea started with MD PMI India - Mr. Raj Kalady. He identified
5 experienced volunteers across India - During 2010
• Shared the Idea and asked the team to crystalize
• Team Formed and Formulated the thoughts and piloted the
program with Bangalore location in 2010
• Based on Pilot results bigger team formed and evolved two
layer approach during 2011
.

Roles and Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities 1. Champion Advocacy efforts; representing PMI ambassador within
their organization
2. PMI Administrator The Champion Program Administrator role supports the development and Implementation of the business and its operations throughout the India geographic region to progress the project management profession and consumer relationships aligned with the strategic plan for PMI India. Single point of contact for the champion, will provide regular updates to the champion team as per the communication matrix, Consolidation and maintenance of performance reports
3. Champion Advisory Committee Mentoring the Champions, Final decision making authority for Champion selection, resolution of conflicting matters

REP/RCP/Chapter/PMI MAG
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Commitment to spend 25-30 hours of time in a quarter
• Open to travel based on need
