Allowthejointingcompoundtodrybeforecommencingtoskimcoat.siteformedrecessesdonotneedsealingbeforeapplyingCemintel™ExternalJointCompound.

Step 1 Fill recess fully with Cemintel™ External Jointing Compound using a 150mm stainless steel trowel

AllowCemintel™SkimCoattofullydrypriortotheapplicationofCemintel™TextureCoat.Allowatleast24hoursinwarm,dryconditions,longerincoldorwetconditions.

Inspectthewallsafterskimcoatingtoensurethesurfaceisflat.Ifthereareanyimperfections,theseshouldberepairedwithCemintel™SkimCoat.Cemintel™TextureCoatmaynotadequatelyhideimperfectionsvisibleintheskimcoat.

Applicationsthathavecommencedinanisolatedareashouldcontinueuninterrupted.Rapid, uniformandcontinuousapplicationisessentialtomaintainawetedge,especiallyinwarmweather.

Cemintel™TextureCoatshouldbetouchdryinonehourat25ºCand50%relativehumidity.It isshouldbefullydryandabletobepaintedafter72hours,althoughlowertemperatureorhigherhumiditywillincreasethedryingtime.

Vibrationssuchasnailfixingtheinternalliningsshouldbeavoideduntilthetexturecoatisdry.Thisistoreducethelikelihoodofthesheetfastenersprotrudingandthecoatingbeingdamaged.
