CSR activities by Radico Khaitan Ltd. w.e.f.01st April,15 to 31st March,16

To actively contribute to the social and economic development of the community in which we

operate. In doing so build a better sustainable way for the weaker section of the society and

raise the countries human developments.

Under Ministry of corporate affairs Gazette notification New Delhi 27th February, 2014 Under

Companies Act, 2013 schedule VII clause (I) CSR activities.

Health and Medical :-

Radico is committed to provide all possible help to create awareness on various health related

issues impacting the local peoples and to provide better health care to the needy persons of

society.

Every year Company provides financial help to Distt. Eye relief society, K D Dalmia to

organize medical camps in surrounding villages. Last year Company has organized one

General health checkup camp at Ajitpur Village and six eye check up camps in nearby

Villages at Ajitpur, Chamrowa, and Panwadia.

K D Dalmiya Eye Hospital

K. D. Dalmia Eye Hospital was established in 1958 by the Late Padamshri Dr. Mohan Lal founder of the Gandhi Eye Hospital, Aligarh. This hospital is being Managed by the District Eye Relief Society, Rampur under the president ship of District Magistrate, Rampur.

Every day around 400 patients visits the Hospital and got benefitted among them 8 to

10 % patients are suffering from retina disease. Earlier there was no such facility

available in Rampur and surrounding areas to get treatment. The patients suffering

from Retina disease have to visit expensive hospitals in Delhi NCR for their further

treatment.

During our discussion with Doctors at K D Dalmia Hospital, we have found that if we

arrange the required retina machines at Rampur than our Doctors can treat the patients

having retina disease.

Smt. KIRAN DEVI KHAITAN RETINA & LASER CENTRE K.D. DALMIA EYE HOSPITAL, RAMPUR OPEINING CERMONY

Retina & Laser Centre was inaugurated by, Shri C.P. Tripathi, I.A.S. District Magistrate-Rampur on 11th June 2015 in the presence of Mr. K.P. Singh Director and all the dignitaries of Rampur.

Mr. Lalit Khaitan Chairman, along with Mr. K P Singh Director (O) and Mr. Ajay Kumar Agarwal President F & A visited Smt. Kiran Devi Khaitan Retina & Laser Centre

Now Hospital is able to treat about 90% of various diseases of posterior segments of eye by the following equipments:

1. FUNDUS CAMERA: It is used for taking photographs of Retina & Optic Disc & performing Angiography of the eye to diagnose harmful effects of Diabetes, Hypertension, and Age Related Macular Degeneration etc.

2. RETINAL GREEN LASER: After performing angiography by Fundus Camera most of the above mentioned diseases are treated By Retinal Green Laser, thereby preventing the harmful effects of these diseases. If such patients not treated at an early stage can make a person permanently blind.

3. OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT: It is highly sophisticated equipment to diagnose :

Macular Diseases: Eye affected by Diabetes, Hypertension & Macular

Degeneration at a very early stage.

Glaucoma: To diagnose this sight threatening disease at its earliest stage.

Cornea & Angle Of The Anterior Chamber: Some of the disease of the Cornea &

Glaucoma that is also a very dangerous & blinding disease of eye. If diagnosed &

treated early can prevent & help the patient from becoming a blind person.

So far the hospital has examined & treated 566 cases on nominal charges & 134 cases have been treated free of charge to the poor patients. The people of Rampur & adjoining areas are very thankful to Radico Khaitan Ltd. for donating & establishing of Smt. Kiran Devi Khaitan Retina & Laser Centre at Dalamiya eye hospital which is a boon for whole of population of this area & will fulfill hospital aim for prevention & eradication of Blindness.

Fresh drinking water facilities: -

To provide the fresh drinking water to poor Villagers, Company has installed hand

pumps at Ajitpur Village and water coolers installed near DM office and for Nagrik Samaj

seva samiti for General Public.


Companies Act, 2013 schedule VII clause (II) CSR activities.

On 21st October,15 “Academic Excellence Award Ceremony” was organized at Radico

Khaitan Ltd. Guest house to encourage the District School Principals, Teachers and

Students, who have got high ranked in 10th and 12th standards in the District.

Sh. Martond Partap Singh ADM-Rampur was the Chief Guest in the program

Chief Guest Sh. Martond Partap Singh ADM & Sh. KP Singh Director Operations,

Distributing the certificates and medals to toppers in 10th & 12th in CBSE & UP

Board

Company has honored 07 students of 12th standard CBSE and UP Board and given them laptops on their outstanding performance. Company has also financially helped to 08 poor and needy girl students and give them scholarship for Rs.10,000/- each. Around 21

Schools Principals, teachers and Students Participated in the program. Three District topper Schools ,Saraswati Vidaya Manadir, Milak 02 Students top in 10th & one student in 12th (UP Board) ,RAN Public School,Rampur 02 Students topped in 12th CBSE, Sardar Ballab Bhai Patel, Milak 01 Student top in 10th & one in 2th (UP) Board. All topper students and 10th & 12th Standard in UP Board and CBSE were honored in the program.

Company has given Rs. 10 lacs financial support to Shri Hari Inter college in developing Science biology lab in the School and Rs. 1.25 lacs given for lab

equipments and also financially help to Sainik School Ghorakhal on their Golden Jubillee celebration.

Donation for Rs.2.80 lacs given to "Whitehall Public School" to make the success of

"Prime Minister's Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Mission" and adopted 07 needy girl

students and financially supporting them in getting education, there details are as given

below:-

Skill development Employment linked programs started at Ajit Pur & Panwaria Villages.

Company has started skill development programs with Ch. Ramesh Charitable trust GBD for

employment linked training programs on skill development for local unemployed youth at Ajit

Pur and Panwaria Villages.

Successful completion of skill development sewing and stitching 1st batch for girls

Sh.K P Singh Director Operations distributed sewing machines to 30 girl students on

successful completion of six months first batch on 30th May 15

Successful completion of 01st Batch of Retail, Beautification and Fire with Safety program

Sh. KP Singh Director Operations distributed certificates to 180 students of retail,

beautification and fire with safety guards on successful completion of 01st Batch of

employment linked course.

Successful Completion of 02nd Batch of Retail, Nursing, Mechanic and Fire with safety

program.

On Successful completion of 02nd Batch of retail Mgt, Nursing, Mechanic and fire with safety

105 students were honored and certificates were distributed by Mr. Ajay Kumar Agarwal

Apart from above activities Company is actively participating in other Community development

programs also .

Helped to Veer Khalsa seva samitee:-

Veer Khalsa seva samitee is social welfare society, which helps in all social welfare, helps in

organizing marriage of poor girls and always stand with the needy persons. Company has

helped to Veer Khalsa Seva Samitee and also provided them a vehicle to carry dead bodies.

company officials donated Vehicle key to Veeer Khalsa Seva Samitee

Financial aid to Vishal Samaj Vikas Sansthan for awareness program run by govt on disaster management and financially help given to Maya Devi Nyas Dharmsala for construction work, financially help given to organize wedding ceremony of 51 poor girls at Bazpur

Construction and renovation work of Toilets, Desks & Chairs at Khurshid Girls Inter College & Rajkiya Balika Inter College have been completed started and Financial Aid given to Bhartiya Kisan Union for Tricycles distribution to physically challenged.

2000 Blankets distributed among poor peoples of Rampur and nearby and also given Rajai,matters and two flood lights for Anathalya
