Used to control flutter echo & reverberant field

    The ultimate in Mild Diffusion

Cue Acoustic, Horizon Scatter Plates are an attractive set of acoustic panels, easy to install on almost any surface. Scatter Plates help to control primary & secondary reflections, eliminates flutter echo & reduces standing waves.

Scatter Plates are made of high-density fiberboards, sealed with micromesh & the covered with a high-end acoustically transparent fabric. Scatter Plates are put up across the wall surface randomly to create an effect we call Mild Diffusion, which is an affordable alternative to a full-scale quadratic diffusion.

By leaving reflective spaces between the panels, some energy is absorbed while some reflects back into the room. This helps control flutter echo and reduce standing waves while keep to room ambiance.

Scatter Plates are a super choice for the live-end / dead-end designs in studio, controlling echo in home theaters and are a cost effective solution to treat larger spaces such as halls, dance studios, fitness centers & classrooms.

Adapts well to all room designs

Cue Acoustic, Horizon Control Panels are an attractive set of acoustic panels, easy to install on almost any surface. Control Panels help to control primary & secondary reflections, eliminates flutter echo & reduces standing waves.

Control Panels are made of high-density fiberboards, sealed with micromesh & then covered with a high-end acoustically transparent fabric. Control Squares are put up across the wall surface of the room to treat bothersome reflections that bounce between the source and the listener.

The panels can be spread in an arranged manner to not completely deaden the room. This helps control acoustic problems in the room, while keeping the natural ambience of the room.

Control Panel's long pillar like design is an ideal compliment for demanding architectural designs. Control Panels are an excellent choice for the live-end / dead-end studio designs and home theaters.

Horizon Control Panels are 1 or 2-inch thick panels, available in choice of 3 colors (Black, Beige, Grey)

    Broadband Bass Absorber 24 x 48 x 2

Full size panels provide maximum absorptive surface

    Made from high performance fiberboards

Cue Acoustic Horizon is a range of high performance fabric covered acoustic panels designed for use in applications where superior acoustic performance is desired aesthetics are of utmost concern. Made from high density fiberboards, Horizon panels have up to six times greater density than typical PU panels for balanced absorption throughout the audio listening range. Each panel is fully encapsulated with micromesh and edges are chemically hardened to assure safe handling during installation. Panels are then covered in a tough yet acoustically transparent high-end fabric and offered in three 'neutral' colors with choice (Black, Beige, Grey). The larger panel design also lends itself to other applications such as bass management. For instance, mounting Broadband Absorbers using Cue Acoustics Off-Set Impalers introduces an air space behind the panel, which can increase bass absorption by as much as one octave. When mounted using Cue Acoustics Corner Impalers, bass absorption extends down to 75Hz making it an ideal bass trap for controlling the low end response in a studio or home theatre installation.

    UltraTrap Bass Trap 24 x 48 x 7

High Performance wall / corner mount bass trap

Suspended diaphragm absorbs bass below 50Hz

High density front absorber controls highs & mids

Ideal for small to medium size rooms where modes cause problems

The Cue Acoustic UltraTrap is a highly effective bass trap that combines a diaphragmatic resonator, a full-size acoustic panel, and a sealed enclosure to provide 3-way absorption throughout the full frequency spectrum. This unique design begins with a front-mounted 24" x 48" 3" thick Broadway panel made from high-density fiberboard. This effectively absorbs frequencies down to 125Hz and extends below 100Hz. Behind the panel; a closed air space takes full advantage of quarter-wavelength principles to further reinforce low frequency absorption in this critical bass region. But where the UltraTrap truly shines is in its capacity to absorb deep low bass. The UltraTrap's remarkable low frequency extension is achieved by way of a suspended diaphragm that stretches nearly the full height of the device and essentially acts like a huge microphone, capturing bass by vibrating where the low frequencies are most prominent. As room modes combine, they either reinforce certain frequencies or cancel them out. The UltraTrap's limp-mass structure naturally migrates to the most powerful frequencies where it quietly resonates to remove excess bass and subsequent modal frequencies.

    Z-Edge Quadratic Diffuser (QRD)

True Schroeder* quadratic residue diffuser QRD

17 deep 8 wells diffuse energy down to 400Hz

Eliminates standing waves and flutter echo

Adds sense of air and retains natural ambiance

The Z-Edge is a high-performance quadratic residue diffuser (QRD*) based on a primitive root sequence that employs a grated array of 17 precisely calculated wells to break up and scatter acoustic energy to create a diffuse sound field. Originally developed by Schroeder, QRDs have long been considered to be one of the most effective forms of diffusion. A series of wells are mathematically arranged in such a fashion that sound waves entering the device reflect back into the room at different times, thus shifting their relative phase. This produces both spatial dispersion (left and right) and temporal dispersion (time shift) which effectively eliminates flutter echoes, breaks up strong first order reflections and reduces standing waves without overly deadening the space. Unlike lightweight plastics that are unable to control powerful low frequencies, the Z-Edge combines heavy, MDF slats with a furniture grade solid rubber wood laminate surround for added mass and rigidity. The grated 24" x 48" array is made up with a series of 17 deep, narrow wells that will effectively diffuse acoustic energy from 425Hz to over 5.5kHz with excellent scattering down to 200Hz. This makes the Z-Edge particularly effective in variants of the (live-end, dead-end) studio control

    Easy to assemble suspension hardware

    Eliminates floor to ceiling reflections

The Cue Acoustic Cirrus is an acoustical device that suspends above the recording console to control early reflections, flutter echo and help eliminate standing waves that cause resonant peaks in the critical mix position. Once in place, you will immediately enjoy a more controlled and intimate acoustic environment, larger sweet spot and reduced ear fatigue. Attractive and very affordable, the Cirrus ships in kit-form and is easily put together in minutes using a simple screwdriver. The kit includes a 2" thick, 24" x 48" acoustic panel made from high-density fiberboard and suspension hardware. The fiberboard is fully encapsulated with micromesh and the edges are chemically treated and covered with shiny steel borders. For an attractive appearance, the panel is covered in an acoustically transparent fabric. The suspension hardware consists of two lightweight aluminum rails and "L" brackets that form a rigid frame around the panel. To hang the Cirrus, simply attach the included suspension wire to the frame. Hardware and fasteners for sheet-rock ceilings are included in the kit. Typically, the Cirrus would be suspended above the console and clustered in an array spanning the width of your console and listening. C

    Easy to assemble suspension hardware

    Eliminates floor to ceiling reflections

The Cue Acoustic GoboTrap is a combination studio gobo and bass trap that is designed to enhance the recording process by controlling spill between instruments, while passively removing excessive bass from the room. It features two Horizon fabric covered high-density fiberboard acoustic panels mounted on both sides that effectively absorb the sound. This is augmented with a heavy internal MDF board that adds mass to help contain spill between instruments. The MDF board also acts like a low frequency resonator that combines with the acoustic panels and the deep internal air cavity to absorb bass down to 75Hz. The 24" x 36" (60.96cm x 91.44cm) GoboTrap is made from marine grade multi-ply mdf and engineered with tough joints for maximum durability in professional studio environments. This is particularly important when you consider that gobos tend to be tossed around or stacked to create walls and often employed as a bench for studio session players! Features include side access handles for easy handling and rubber feet to reduce wear & tear. The GoboTrap is available with choice of grey, beige or black panels. C

    Easy to assemble suspension hardware

    Eliminates floor to ceiling reflections

The FlexiBooth is a full size 24" x 36" wall-mounted acoustic cupboard that opens up to surround the vocal talent and create a dry 'voice-over zone. The innovative design separates and attenuates room ambiance from the voice recording, which then allows the engineer to add echo or reverb and equalize the voice to best suit the performance in postproduction. From the outside, the FlexiBooth looks like a typical cupboard. It features an attractive black melamine finish that is easy to clean. Inside, ultra high performance fiberboard panels effectively absorb sound throughout the voice range. The acoustic panels are completely encapsulated with micromesh and are covered in a high-end acoustically transparent fabric to enhance the fit and finish. Because of the heavy construction, sound attenuation is excellent. The FlexiBooth can also be used as a variable room ambiance controller. Those that have recorded in large professional studios will be familiar with the variable acoustic panels that are often used to tailor room acoustics. For instance, a brighter more ambient room is generally preferred with acoustic instruments while a darker ambiance is often preferred for voice, electric guitars and so on. By positioning several FlexiBooth around the room, one can easily create different acoustic environments by simply opening or closing the FlexiBooth doors. The Cue Acoustic FlexiBooth provides a simple yet highly effective solution for vocal recording that can adapt to any room. C

Attractive fabric wrapped steel border panel

    Easy to assemble suspension hardware

    Eliminates floor to ceiling reflections

The Cue Acoustic VoiceGuard is a portable acoustic screen designed to reduce the ambient noise around a microphone when recording. This helps to eliminate excess echo and reverb, allowing the engineer to reintroduce the desired effects during mixing or post-production. The VoiceGuard features high-density open cell acoustic foam to provide maximum absorption throughout the vocal range. An extra large high impact ABS outer shell keeps unwanted noise out, while innovative slotted ports prevent excess bass buildup and resonance commonly associated with stand-mounted absorbers. Once mounted, a rear access cable port allows any hand held or studio microphone to be articulated and directed at a specific source. Unlike other similar offerings that employ heavy and cumbersome steel parts, the VoiceGuard is lightweight and easy to use. The outer shell simply slides over the threads of the microphone stand and is held in place by the clip, shock mount, or included threaded adapters. For additional flexibility, an extension bar is included for infinite mic placement possibilities. The lightweight design and simple mounting hardware makes positioning the VoiceGuard easy without the usual fear of the stand falling over and damaging the microphone.
