What is the Final Revelation of GOD

Preface All praise belongs to Allah. We praise Him, seek His aid and His

forgiveness and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our selves and

from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide; and

whomsoever Allah leaves unguided, none can guide thereafter. I bear

witness that there is no god (nothing and no one have the right to be

worshipped) except Allah, alone without partners, and I bear witness

that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, may Allah exalt his

mention and the mention of his household, his companions, and those

who follow them with piety until the day of judgement. Ameen!

My brothers and sisters everywhere! With this essay, I am not singling

out the adherents of Islam - to which I affiliate - but rather I am

compiling this essay to every man and woman throughout the entire

world. I ask Allah to make this essay reach every ear, fall under the

sight of every eye, and be understood by every heart.

What is the Final Revelation? The Final Revelation is The Holy Qur'an (also written as Qur'an and

Koran) which is the final, infallible, eternal, literal and direct actual

words of Allah. The Qur’an is not created. It was revealed and brought

down by the angel Gabriel (often referred to as the holy spirit) and

firmly implanted into the heart of His final Messenger Muhammad, an

Arab and a descendant of Abraham (Peace be upon them), over a period

of 23 years in the seventh century of the Common Era (C.E.).

It is the benefit of humanity; it educates and raises people to the highest

moral, intellectual and social levels when they comprehend it and apply

its teachings in their lives.

It is our roadmap for life and afterlife. The Qur'an is the best

guidebook on how to structure our life. The Qur'an also points out the

way to secure everlasting happiness in the afterlife. It is our roadmap

showing how to get to paradise. In other words, it is a healing mercy

from God. It satisfies the soul, and cleans the heart, removes doubts and

brings peace; it is the "constitution" of the Kingdom of Heaven on

Earth. Allah the Exalted said:

((O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and

healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the

believers.))10:57

The Qur'an is the eternal living miracle of the Muslims. Each

generation of Muslims has found new sources of strength, courage and

inspiration in it. It is also, for them, a "compass" in the turbulent voyage

of life, as it has explained itself in the following verses: ((. . . Indeed,

there has come to you light and a clear book from Allah; With it Allah

guides him who follow His pleasure into the ways of safety and brings

them out of utter darkness into light by his will and guides them to the

right path.)) 5: 15-16

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

5

The Qur'an is the primary source of every Muslim’s faith and practice.

No other book presents such a comprehensive system involving all

aspects of human life. It deals with all the subjects that concern human

beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, transactions, law, equitable

economic system, political affairs, etc., but its basic theme is the

relationship between God and His creatures which is monotheism.

((A blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [Oh

Mohammed], that they might reflect upon its verses, and that those of

understanding would be reminded.)) 38:29

Well-preserved How Qur'an is preserved by Lord? Allah says "Verily, We

Ourselves have sent down this Qur'an, and most surely We will be its

Guardian, (15:9)

Qur'an was sent by God in steps to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),

and in every month of Ramadan Angle Gabriel used to come and sit

with the prophet and used to revise the already sent part of the Qur'an.

When the Qur'an was completed, Gabriel came twice in the last month

of Ramadan to revise the Qur'an for 100% correctness. Later it was

preserved in two ways. First, through memorization, there were a

number of early Muslims who would memorize each revelation as soon

as it was revealed and thus the entire Qur'an was memorized at the time

of the final revelation. The tradition of memorizing the entire Qur'an

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

6

still continues, and a person who does so is called a Hafiz. Nowadays

according to some survey that there are 10 million Hafizes in the world.

What is more attractive to the seekers of truth is that you would find

among this huge numbers of Hafizes, Muslims kids, either Arabs or

Non Arabs, some of them below than 10 years old, who memorized by

heart either many parts of it or the entire book. This distinguished way

could not be found with any religious book but with the Holly Qur'an.

Second, the Qur'an was preserved through writing. Whenever any

revelation took place, it was written at once on tablets, palm branches,

shorn of leaves, or leather(animal skin). The Prophet (PBUH) set the

order of the chapters under the guidance of Angel Gabriel (PBUH) and

ordered his companions to maintain that order. Abu Bakr, the first

caliph of Islam, compiled the Qur'an, and Uthman, the third caliph,

made numerous copies and sent one copy to each state’s capital.

Incorruptible Regarding this subtitle Allah almighty states in the Qur'an, (And

indeed, it is a mighty book. Falsehood cannot approach it from before it

or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from a [Lord who is] Wise and

Praiseworthy.) 41:41-42. Allah also says, (Nay, but this Qur'an [divine

writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime. Upon an imperishable

tablet [inscribed]) 85:21-22

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

7

The Qur'an is regarded, not just by Muslims but also by historians

of religion, as the most authentic holy text among the world's religions.

It remains today completely intact and unaltered in its original Arabic

form and this is one of the greatest miracles of the Qur'an.

It is the only religious sacred writing which has been in circulation

for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in the beginning.

The Qur'an was kept intact. Nothing was added to it; nothing had been

changed in it; and nothing had been taken away from it ever since it was

completely revealed 1400 years ago.

In the last century, an Institute of Munich University in Germany

collected FORTY-TWO THOUSAND copies of the Holy Qur'an

including manuscripts and printed texts produced in each period in the

various parts of the Islamic World. Research work was carried out on

these texts for half a century, at the end of which the researchers

concluded that apart from copying mistakes, there was no discrepancy

in the text of these forty-two thousand copies, even though they

belonged to the period between the 1st Century Hijri and 14th Century

Hijri and had been procured from all parts of the world. This Institute,

alas!, perished in the bombing attacks on Germany during World War

II, but the findings of its research project survived.

Two of these copies exist in the world today, one in Istanbul-

Turkish and the other in Tashkent-Russia. Whosoever is so inclined

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

8

may compare any printed text of the Holy Qur'an with those two copies,

he shall find no variation.

A well known critic of Islam, Sir William Muir wrote in his book,

The Life of Muhammad: “There is probably in the world no other book

which has remained twelve centuries with so pure a text.” After another

two centuries from Sir William Muir the Qur’an remains a pure text.

Also H.A.R. Gibb wrote in his book, Mohammedanism (1953) “well

then, if the Qur'an were his own composition other men could rival it.

Let them produce ten verses like it. If they could not (and it is obvious

that they could not), then let them accept the Qur'an as an outstanding

evidential miracle.”

The Qur'an was revealed in a living language Another point that must be kept in view is that the word in which

the Qur'an was revealed is a living language in our own time. It is still

current as the mother tongue of a millions of people from Iraq to

Morocco. In the non-Arab world too, hundreds of thousands of people

study and teach this language. The original texts of many other religious

books have been lost over time and were originally written in languages

that are no longer commonly spoken, e.g. the Aramaic (the language of

Jesus). The grammar of the Arabic language, its lexicon, its phonetic

system and its phraseology, have remained intact for more than fourteen

hundred years.

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

9

A modern Arabic-speaking person can comprehend the Holy Qur'an

with as much proficiency as did the Arabs of fourteen centuries ago.

This, then, is an important attribute of Muhammad (PBUH), which is

shared by no other prophet or leader of religion. The Book which God

revealed to him for the guidance of mankind is today in its original

language without the slightest alteration in its vocabulary. Allah says:

([It is] a Quran in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order

that they may guard against Evil.) 39:28

Why not other sacred books were protected like the Qur'an?

The answer is very clear. The Books that came before the Qur'an,

through God's Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them), were

also sent by God. None of the other revealed books have reached us in

their original form. Some of them, like the scrolls that were revealed

through Abraham (peace be upon him), have not reached us at all. Over

the course of time, parts of other scriptures were rewritten and some

parts removed, distorting their message. So the divine books before the

Qur’an were either lost or have been subjected to additions,

subtractions, and alterations.

From one hand, these books were not preserved because God did

not take it upon Himself to preserve them. From another, all other

prophets and sacred books sent upon them were Limited to a specific

nation for a Limited period. Once period was over that book was not

needed as superseded (replaced) by next one, e.g. Jesus was sent just for

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

10

the LOST SHEEP of Jews. Jesus (peace be upon him) by God's order

came with modifications to the law, for instance, making lawful some

things that had previously been unlawful, without making any changes

to the core concept of monotheism.

Therefore, Divine preservation of the earlier scriptures was not as

critical as the holy Qur'an because God continued to send a succession

of Prophets and Messengers to people. The law as embodied in these

older scriptures was not in its final complete form as in the case of the

holly Qur'an.

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

11

Dominant & Unsurpassable The Qur’an is the Supreme Authority and adjudicator, dominant

over all other Scriptures and Books. Allah the Most Exalted said, (And

We have sent down to you [O Muhammad] the Book (this Qur’an) in

truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it, and muhaimin

[dominant, and a trustworthy witness] over it.) 5:48

The Qur’an revealed upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the final

Edition of sacred books and is for the entire universe for unlimited time.

God did not allow alteration to happen to the Qur'an. For this reason,

God did not entrust human beings with preserving the Qur'an.

That is to say, the Qur'an is God's final revelation to humankind. No

other book will come from God to surpass His final revelation. It is His

final book for all of humanity until the Day of Judgment. No new

prophet or messenger is going to be sent. If the Qur'an were corruptible,

God's Message to humanity would be lost. Therefore, the Qur'an is

unique in a number of ways. God has perfectly preserved the Qur'an and

guaranteed it from corruption until the end of time.

Lack of Contradiction The Qur’an challenges mankind by saying, (Do they not then

consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they

would surely have found therein much contradiction.) 4:82

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

12

The fact that there are no contradictions in the Qur’an, despite being

revealed over the period of twenty-three years, under different

circumstances, addressing different problems, is a clear indication of its

divine origin, but these can be realized only by the sincere and objective

readers who Allah describes in this following verse, (Indeed in that is a

reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in

mind].) 50:37

Indisputable The Qur'an withstands the test of time and scrutiny. No one can

dispute the truth of this book. It speaks about past history and turns out

right. It speaks about the future in prophecies and it turns out right. It

mentions details of physical phenomena which were not known to

people at the time; yet later scientific discoveries confirm that the

Qur'an was right all along. Every other book needs to be revised to

accord with modern knowledge. The Qur'an alone is never contradicted

by a modern discovery. Therefore, there are no disputes about the

authenticity of the Qur’an among Muslims and even among the Fair-

minded, unbiased, wise, and truth-seeking non-Muslims. (Then do they

not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?)

47:24

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

13

The Book of Challenge God challenges those who doubt the authenticity of the Qur'an to

produce a single chapter like unto it. This has never been accomplished

though there have been many throughout history who would have loved

to discredit the Qur'an and destroy Islam. God's challenge remains open

until the Day of Judgment. One of the Qur'an's miracles is that it is the

pinnacle of literary excellence. It is the most eloquent Arabic text in

existence. It has a style like no other work in the Arabic language, a

style that is inimitable.

In other words, the Qur'an is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The

Qur'an challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of the Prophet’s

time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the

Qur'an. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this

Qur'an. Indeed, until our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has

been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order,

grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Qur'an. God has told us in

the Qur’an that they will never be able to do it.

Allah says, (Say, "If the mankind and the jinns were together to

produce the like of this Qur'ân, they could not produce the like thereof,

even if they helped one another.") 17:88

The Qur'an continued to reduce it's challenge until the challenge

finally became: "compose only a single chapter comparable to this

Qur'an and you will have won." They still could not. In addition, the

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

14

fairness, justice, and logic of the Qur'an eventually won them over and

slowly more and more people became Muslims. Allah the Exalted says,

(And if you are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down [the

Qur'an] to Our slave [Muhammad Peace be upon him], then produce a

Surah [chapter] of the like thereof and call your witnesses [supporters

and helpers] besides Allah, if you are truthful. But if you do not do it,

and you can never do it, then fear the Fire [Hell] whose fuel is men and

stones, prepared for the disbelievers.) 2:23-24

It should be pointed out that the smallest chapter of the Qur'an is

composed of just three short verses. The above is exactly what has

occurred! None have been able to meet this challenge to this day and

they cannot do so.

Amazing and Eternal Miracle Calling the Qur'an amazing is not something done only by Muslims,

who have an appreciation for the book and who are pleased with it; it

has been labeled amazing by non-Muslims as well. In fact, even people

who hate Islam very much have still called it amazing. One thing which

surprises non-Muslims who are examining the book very closely is that

the Qur'an does not appear to them to be what they expected.

In fact, it is the unique quality of the Qur'an that it is an amazing

miracle in and of itself. A miracle is a phenomenon that goes against the

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

15

natural order of things and clearly demonstrates the direct intervention

of God Almighty.

All the Prophets and Messengers brought miracles from God that

clearly demonstrated the truthfulness of their claim to prophethood.

Abraham (peace be upon him) survived being thrown into a blazing fire

without being harmed. Moses (peace be upon him) raised his staff and

the Red Sea parted for him by God's Mercy. Jesus (peace be upon him),

son of Mary, touched the dead and terminally ill and restored them to

full health by the permission of God. All of these miracles revealed the

legitimacy and validity of the Prophets and Messengers, but these

miracles could only be witnessed by the people who were actually there

at that time.

The Qur’an describes the creation of mankind and universe and

other natural phenomena to be as clear evidence for the existence of the

One Who created them and He is Allah. The Qur’an states, “We will

show them our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it

becomes clear to them that it is the truth.” 41:53.The modern science

came to be a witness for the authenticity of the Qur’anic description of

humans and universe and other phenomena. The Qur’an describes the

development of human creation, “And certainly did We create man

from an extract of clay. Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm

lodging (the womb). Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot,

and We made the colt into a lump (of flesh), and We made from the

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

16

lump bones and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed

him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.”

23:12-14. Embryologists found the Qur’anic description of human

embryo development in the womb in full agreement with the recent

findings of modern science. Professor Keith L. Moore the author of the

book entitled: The Developing Human, that was chosen to be the best

book in this field in USA, said, “As far as it is known from the history

of embryology, little was known about the staging and classification of

human embryos until the twentieth century. For this reason, the

descriptions of the human embryo in the Qur’an cannot be based on

scientific knowledge in the seventh century. The only reasonable

conclusion is: these descriptions were revealed to Muhammad from

God. He could not have known such details because he was an illiterate

man with absolutely no scientific training.”

The full agreements between the Qur’an and modern science

concerning the scientific facts mentioned in the Qur’an caused some

scientists to come to the conclusion that it was impossible for an

illiterate man like Muhammad to be the author of the Qur’an. They

found no difficulty to confess that the Qur’an is the word of Allah.

Therefore, many of them embraced Islam and pronounced the testimony

of Islam ل ا ار ،، و ا إ ا ” which means: “There

is no true god worthy of worship but Allah, and Muhammad is the

messenger of Allah.”

17

The book of Prophecy and the Secret of history The Qur'an also foretold everything that would occur to the prophet

and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the

tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian

kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of

Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as the Qur'an

foretold, as if it was a future book, and indeed it is. Enjoy reading the

prophecy of the Qur'an by self:

(Alif, Lam, Meem. The Byzantines have been defeated. In the

nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome. Within three to

nine years. To Allah belongs the command [i.e., decree] before and

after. And that day the believers will rejoice. In the victory of Allah. He

gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the

Merciful. [It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise,

but most of people do not know. They know what is apparent of the

worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware.) 30:1-7

This Qur'an also mentioned most of the accounts found in the

previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as

if the Prophet witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they

were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent

down to Jesus. Neither the Jews nor Christians were able to belie him

regarding anything that he said. Allah – there is no deity except Him,

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

18

the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence – says, (He has sent down

upon you, [O Mohammed], the Book in truth, confirming what was

before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. Before, as

guidance for the people. And He revealed the Criterion[i.e., the Qur'an].

Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe

punishment, and Allah is Exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution.)

3:1-5

The Logical Conclusion We have established that the Qur’an could not have been written by

Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) nor did he learn it from

someone else or collect it from other sources. Are you, the reader, still

in doubt about this? We ask you, if you are still in doubt to then take up

the challenge of the Qur’an itself and prove it to be false.

Ponder upon the fact that not one of the legions of brilliant poets

that have lived in the past 1,400 years have been able to match the

Qur’anic beauty and eloquence despite repeated challenges from the

Qur’an to do so. And they never will. Why are they not successful?

Because the Qur’an is indeed the word of God and who can compete

with God?

Throughout this work, we have asked the sincere reader to

contemplate. We also stated in the beginning that if we conclude that

the Qur’an is the word of God, then we must by extension accept the

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

19

Messengership of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon

him). The rational criteria is at the sincere reader’s disposal, and one's

emotional commitment to religion should be preceded by an intellectual

commitment to it. Reason, in fact, is our primary means for finding the

Truth.

We can put any religion or system of beliefs to test by examining

whether it is rational, universal, applicable at all times, in all places, and

by people of all colors and languages, and whether the religion's

Scripture is free of alteration, and internal and external inconsistencies.

A scripture is internally inconsistent if it contains discrepancies and

contradictions within its text, and externally inconsistent if it contradicts

facts (not theories) from science and nature as we know them. It is

impossible that God does not know His creation.

Our experience tells us that a few minutes of reasoning can usually

leave us persuaded with the truth of God's absolute Oneness and

Uniqueness, so what remains to be studied is which religion is truly

monotheistic in its nature. One of the major criteria for distinguishing

the Truth from errors, that we would like to stress, is the authenticity of

the religious scripture.

We have presented above indisputable proof that the Qur’an is the

word of God. The reality is that Muslims are the only ones who even

claim to have an authentic scripture from God, in its original form, of

which not a single letter has been changed. Most other religions admit

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

20

that their scriptures are in fact human writings. And if we say that there

is a Truth and God, we are likely to believe that God wants us to do

certain things and abstain from others. If we are of the view that God

would not leave us without a reliable Revelation, then the mere fact that

Muslims are the only ones who even claim to have an authentic

revelation could attest to the truthfulness of their claim. However, as

mentioned earlier, the Qur'an invites us to ponder and reason and to

accept faith based on knowledge, rather than the blind imitation of our

traditions. As we have quoted throughout this work from the Qur’an,

"Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other

than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradiction."

4:82

Again we ask the sincere reader to ponder. After all these evidences

which prove to us the truth about the final revelation of GOD but even

a century and million scholars are not enough to convince a stubborn.

God has said about that type of stubborn in Qur'an, "And so, the parable

of those who are bent on denying the truth is that of the beast which

hears the shepherd's cry, and hears in it nothing but the sound of a voice

and a call. Deaf are they, and dumb, and blind: for they do not use their

brain toward wisdom". 2:171

Judge the preservation of the glorious Qur'an in following verse of

the Qur'an, (only for people who are unbiased, wise and truth seekers),

“Alif, Lam, Meem. This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

21

guidance unto those who ward off (evil). Who believe in the Unseen,

and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them;

And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and

that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter.

These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful.

As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not

it is all one for them; they believe not. Allah hath sealed their hearing

and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an

awful doom." (beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah, Chapter 2:1-7

In the following Qur'anic verses Allah is directly talking to you, so

please pay attention to his words that you might be secured in both

lives this and hereafter from His wrath and his mercy might encompass

you too:

(And it was not [possible] for this Qur'an to be produced by other

than Allah, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed

explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt,

from the Lord of the worlds. Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He

invented it?"Say, "Then bring forth a s´rah like it and call upon [for

assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be

truthful."Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in

knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did

those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the

wrongdoers. And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

22

those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the

corrupters. And if they deny you, [O Muúammad], then say, "For me

are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from

what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do." And among them

are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear [i.e.,

benefit from this hearing], although they will not use reason? And

among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind

although they will not [attempt to] see? Indeed, Allah does not wrong

the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging

themselves.)10:37-43

I quoted these verses without further explanation, please read them

again carefully, critically and without any preconceptions. Allah

describes Himself in the easiest way with simplified words without any

complication or difficulty to being well understood in the following

verses, "In the Name of God, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Say: He is God, The One and Only; God, The Eternal, Absolute; He

begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none comparable unto

Him." Chapter 112.

Finally, what does one discover when he understands the meanings

of the Qur'an? The answers to this question can be classified in four

main categories:

1. That he can know his Creator as He has described Himself

What is the Final Revelation of GOD Cultural Center for Foreigners' Call

23

2. That he can know the purpose of life on this earth and what is

expected of every person during this life

3. That he becomes aware of the consequences of his attitudes and his

behavior

4. How he should relate to all things – to Allah by worship and

obedience, to his fellow human beings by justice. This divine

message was revealed to confirm and renew the relationship

between man and his Creator and to reinstate the sincere and correct

worship of the one true God, Allah says, "Then let them respond to

Me and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided."2:186

Notes: 1. The qur'an contains 114 chapters (surahs)

2. Known as Huffaz, usually one for each Mosque in Muslim countries

3. The scrolls that were revealed through Abraham (Peace be upon

him)

4. Note that the Qur'an was revealed to Muhammad in Arabic only.

So, any Qur'anic translation, either in English or any other

language, is neither a Qur'an, nor a version of the Qur'an, but rather

it is only a translation of the meaning of the Qur'an. The Qur'an

exists only in the Arabic in which it was revealed.

5. Allah has given the Quraan many names some of these appear

below.

The Quraan

The Furqaan

The Kitaab

The Tanzeel

6. Moreover Allah has described the Quraan with descriptions in the

Quraan itself.

Noor meaning Light

Huda meaning Guidance

Mau'idha meaning Good admonishment

Shifaa meaning Cure

Rahmah meaning Mercy

Mubarek meaning Blessed

7. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has described the Quraan,

"Allâh has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Qur'ân),

its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated.

The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they

recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the

remembrance of Allâh. That is the guidance of Allâh. He Guides

therewith whom He pleases, and whomever Allâh sends astray, for

him there is no guide. "39:23
