athletes and a $100,000 budget. $37,000 to go to female athletes, $63,000 to go to male athletes

girls, Everyone goes to football, nobody goes to volleyball

”I don't think they even know what college is... it is nonexistent to them when it comes to sports.”

“My coaches support me, always ask how I am doing and what not...athletic director doesn't realize there are also girls sports at our school. Even other coaches have said he only cares about guy sports.”

“The athletic director told me that me trying to play in college is a waste of time.”

“no one really goes to the girls games its all about boys football and basketball”

“Football gets all the fans. There were more fans at boys soccer compared to girls soccer. Boys basketball gets more fans over girls. The only time a girls game really sells out is if it’s against Healdsburg, our rivals, or if it’s a playoff game. It definitely depends on the sport.”

“We have the Windsor times which equally represents female and male sports. They have articles on every recent game that week of the paper but during football season they get bigger articles. There is a female and a male “athlete of the week” each week.”
