Culture Shock is not a disease therefore you cannot call signs of Culture Shock “symptoms”.

Culture Shock is a natural growth phase so instead of the term “symptoms” we use the term “characteristics”.

Overly concerned about health and cleanliness

Feelings of helplessness and withdrawal

Fear of being cheated, robbed, or injured

Irritability

Loneliness
